Looked uncomfortable. Pretty sure it was his thigh maybe a month ago, so just going on all that. Also not playing. He's not injured, but not quite 100% it would appear. Mundaydog
So apart from a keeper its every position we have knackered players in Defence: Aidy White, Halkett, Dikamona(not 100% fit), Souttar & Garrucio Midfield: Haring, Mulraney, Walker, Naismith, Morrison, Whelan & Damour Strikers: Washington & Wighton got to include guys like Anthony McDonald as well, I believe he hasn't kicked a ball yet at Dunfermline

Lord Beni of Gorgie
4 players back in training, according to this mornings rag, but need to come through that. Walker, Naismith, White and Damour. Whelan I believe is a precaution, he is going to be the lynchpin for us on Sunday. Morrison and Dikamona both came on injury free at the weekend, Wighton unused sub. Those months away are Souttar, Halkett and Garuccio. Haring is the pelvic puzzle, the one that caused Colin Cameron so much grief 20 years ago

Ex member of the SaS
So how many of the returning players will be match fit? They are not just going to pull on boots and be up to speed right away so surely give them a bit part. The main thing is we MUST win this game and losing due to returning players who are not match fit, or returning too soon is out of the question. Being match fit and able to hit the ground running is something quite different. That said, they've got to play their first game back some time and ideally CL would want Walker and Naisy for Sunday so he may just try and give them some game time tomorrow. If he does, let's hope it doesn't backfire. It wouldn't surprise me to see Whelan out tomorrow as he is likely to be sorely needed on Sunday. julienbrellier
We need to give Walker and Naismith some time tomorrow unless they aren´t fit enough, even 10/20 mins. No chance of winning on Sunday without them unfortunately. It is worth the risk in my opinion. We will need Meshino Walker and Naismith playing behind Uche with Whelen protecting the defence. Captain Sausage
So: White, Walker, Naismith, Wighton and Damour are ‘injury free’ but lacking match fitness. Whelan will be back this weekend. Mulraney out for a couple of weeks. Halkett our til Jan/Feb. Souttar our til Jan/Feb? Washington out til...? Garrucio out til...? Haring out indefinitely. Am I right? thewiseone
Listening this morning to talksport and the praise a former English rugby international has for Eddie Jones their coach. He spoke about the energy levels of the players, how they've all bought into his vision, the enthusiasm within the camp and the leadership quality and man management shown by Jones. What's this got to do with Craig Levein and this thread on injuries. Well just for the record England rugby team have actually had only one player missing through injury for the whole of the world cup in Japan. Amazing! Don't think there is any link between injury, mentality and the way "the ship is being steered"? The biggest thing I took out of it was suggested to be the level of honesty between Jones and the players. No mention of trying to protect the players just treating them like men! I thought CL was an honest chap til I listened to his aftermatch summaries. Double Dutch and that's polite! Injuries, no nothing to do with Craig Levein.
