Tell me about it.

Remember a trip to Dublin to watch us play St Pats on the cheap when I was a student. Train, ferry, getting pissed up in the centre of town, watch the game got chased after the game by some disagreeable elements and then back on the ferry and train. Clothes almost needed burned by the time I made it home... Remember that stunning night deeper in the competition when we beat Bayern Munich at home. Deeply regret not being able to scrape together the neccesary for the away leg, memory is jadded but think I remember JC smacking one off the post very late on that would have made all the difference.

You mean you miss that day. That was the only good moment that entire season.

JC through one on one, keeper made a great save. We never got a corner.

Mcpherson hit the junction of bar and post with a header.

Brilliant trip, it just wasn’t meant to be. 😎

All roads lead to Gorgie

I remember that well, my seat was in G back then. Happy days and just shows what an atmosphere we create when we have an exciting team on the pitch to watch. My trainers were manky so I don't think I joined in, hope for those nearby I didn't! 😂

I meant I miss the positive vibes of getting so excited and hopeful behind the club and playing in a cracking atmosphere!

Wild! Are you from Edinburgh or Canada? If we ever happen to make it to any meaningful game showing at the Ship & Anchor, we should meet up!

Edinburgh, was brought up in the Pleasance but moved here in '71. :55:

I've been going to the Ship for about as long as you've been on the planet, was there for a couple last night in fact. They send out an APB anytime I decide to give it a miss. (slight exaggeration)
