I always loved burnistown. Funnier than chewing the fat ever was.

Watched a few CTF on netflix recently and although it hasn't aged well, theres still some great sketches. Ronald Villiers  and the angry husband were personal favourites but unfortunately a lot of it was shite like "gonnae no dae that" and "we're oan the nightshift".

The LA/Glasgow police swap is a classic.

I didn't realise until recently that it was the 2 guys from burnistown that wrote a lot of chewing the fat.

You  should be used to unfunny and talentless wonders with the Edinburgh Cringe festival.

It's not one of their funniest clips, granted, but it's still gid.

I'd of posted the voice recognition in the elevator sketch but i'm sure everyone has seen it a million times.

A Boy Named Crow

Recently I’ve been looking for a job, I was offered one on Friday, which means I have a “spare” interview lined up this week.

choking to do this...but in reality I’ll probably bottle it!

Jaiskit?!?

****ing weegies.

It's an ironic take on shite Glasgow patter I believe. I remember people using the term "jaisket" in high school. Like "where did ye get yer Posse jaiskit".

Correct Morgan.

However, if they used that term, it would just be a piss-poor sketch. Now it's a piss-poor sketch with a talking point. 😄

Is that meant to be an Edinburgh accent? I don't know anyone that sounds like that.

The cast of Trainspotting are the only people who have that Edinburgh 'accent'.

I think it's Dundee? Limmy posted the sketch again when he was doing a gig there.

You probably believe that,  but to people who aren't from Edinburgh,  that's pretty much exactly how folk from Edinburgh sound.
