No shirt sponsor for celtic - are betting companies banned in Europe now?

I think in France gambling and alcohol sponsors have been banned for years. I am sure Celtic and Rangers have had to change sponsors multiple times.

Think Rangers used to get sponsored by CentreParcs in France even as far back as the 90s.

Something also rings a bell that Russia never used to allow alcohol sponsors either back in the 90s.

They've banned gambling sponsors in Serie A as well. Don't think it's a UEFA rule though. Not sure

Haven't quite moved onto banning racism though.

Well soft penalty for celtic. Looked a dive.

I'm not sure about Europe in general but as far as I remember France is very strict and betting companies have to be specially licensed in that country to allow them to sponsor sport.

Probably, but the goalkeeper was faking that big time.

Maybe but deserved it for the first one and just playing for Celtic , Ajers tackle ended me , was schoolboy stuff. However fair play as Celtic have played well i think

Yeah. Played before he was fully fit and unsurprisingly pulled a hamstring.

Amount of hammy injuries across scottish football at the moment is mental. Hopefully hes unfit all year. Flanagan and him are pair of fuds. Funny as it was still no idea how he got away with the punch on Scott Brown last year 😂

Rangers are looking pretty good right now. What a goal from that ojo boy. Love the way Stevie g has them playing. Wish we could play wanting to take the game to other teams.

Agreed. Night and day stuff compared to us. Bossing a very good Dutch team.

Yep, feels like a long time since 2005 where we came out of the traps and looked like scoring with every attack. One of the key problems with Levein is we start too soft, you see teams coming to Tynecastle for past 12 months and settling into their gameplan and frustrate the fans - zero urgency for our boys.

Wonder how Austrian team- Riegler & Zechmeister Pellets Wolfsberger Athletik Club, will get on tonight.

Austria have a top league of 12. They play  each other home and away, then split into 2 six team leagues, have the points total, and play each other home and away again. They also have play-off games for some the European places.

The name caught my eye.

I live in Austria - normally they're terrible but last season they started playing some nice football and scraped into Europe.

Right now they're two up away to ..... a German Team !
