VAR says no Genk goal. Sannatta led with a raised arm I assume when challenging for the header.

Was for an offside in the build up. As tight a one as the one that ruled out the Ajax goal earlier.

Genk are pish!

They’re already 10 points behind Club Brugge having conceded 9 more and scored 11 less. That’s Club Brugge who got spanked 0-5 last night by PSG ...

Never convinced about Barcelona these days. No doubt Messi will come up with something to win this but slavia look a threat.

Genk equalise from a corner

Liverpool needed a kick up the backside though they have rested a few thinking they can win with a weakened side..sloppy play

Inter 2-0 up in Dortmund

Napoli equalise and 1-1

A  2nd yellow card for that handball was ridiculous.

Yeah really strange one. I assumed he'd said something to earn the yellow card, bizarre decision.

VAR disallowed for hand ball, back to 4-4

the way the BT Sport guys were going in an Ajax winner is deserved. The second yellow for Blind fair enough (they were claiming it could if been a red on its own) though could if been a foul on Blind before. The second yellow for the pen iv not seen again but what a mental game

Someone apparently has confirmed  it was for the handball according to the commentator

This Chelsea game has been one of the maddest I've watched in a long time. Fully expecting an Ajax winner.

Two own goals, two penalties, two red cards, 8 goals and 1 revoked by VAR? Wish I had watched this now

Ajax have scored 3 goals from one attempt on target.

This is obviously the way ahead for teams who lack goals.

Love this post.

Hope Collum & co weren’t watching it. Might give them ideas, 2 sent off and a penalty in one move.

Just saw the Ajax handball incident. I thought the new protocol was as long as players maintained a “natural” shape, a handball would not be given as a free kick or penalty. The Ajax player has his hands by his side and doesn’t seem to move his left hand towards the ball.
Quite how the referee could give a penalty and a second yellow card is mystery, given the understood rule. Maybe I’m wrong, though.

We can only imagine the reaction of the English media if this had happened to a Chelsea defender.

Wednesday 6th November 2019

Red Star Belgrade v Tottenham Hotspur

Atalanta v Manchester City

Bayern Munich v Olympiakos

Locomotiv Moscow v Juventus

PSG v Club Bruges

Real Madrid v Galatasaray

Dinamo Zagreb v Shakhtar Donetsk

Bayer 04 Leverkusen v Atletico Madrid

Going by my past efforts, I’d be as well sticking a pin into my iPad, but here goes anyhow:

Wins for City, Munich, Juve, Paris, Madrid and Atletico with draws in the Spurs game and in the Zagreb game.

The Old Tolbooth

Red Star Belgrade are a good  price to beat a rather hopeless Spurs side right now, they're a different gravy at home as Liverpool found out last season.

There is also an EL tie today between Vitoria Guimaraes and Arsenal that has an odd kick off at 3:50pm (live on BT Sport 2)

The early k.o. was also to avoid clashing with the reserved slots for the CL games.
