North Berwick Jambo

Mmmm let me consult my crystal ball...

I see a **** manager picking a **** line up set up in **** formation which coupled with our  **** away record & **** current form will see a **** performance end in a **** result!

Oh & that will lead to epic amounts of **** on here and everywhere else 😉

Both should start but could see a red card as a real possibility for one of them. 😕

Definitely with Beaton as the ref. He'll probably find a way to show a red to Jamie Walker and Conor Washington.

Ffs didn't know it was that wee cheat refereeing the game. ☹️

What if we play utter rubbish in the next two games and lose them both.  Still 5 more weeks of levein according to the man himself.

If Smith and Naismith both start, and they are fit and ready Craig, I'm sure we will win.

My pessimism is based on them not playing.

Here's hoping.

Sunshine with occasional showers later in the afternoon........  Oh and a 1-1 draw   :)

Sunshine on Leith?

Shower of Vermin?

You could be onto something here!  :)

Hibernian 0-1 Heart of Midlothian.

Hibs sack their manager, improve and finish top six. Hearts don't sack our manager, toil and finish bottom six. :(

Always felt that numerical revenge (5-1 in a Cup final at Hampden was the non numerical version) for 0-7 will come when least expected.

Sunday's game certainly fits that bill.

Both teams leaking goals....2-2...both teams probably happy with that

Looking forward to taking my little fella to ER for the first time on Sunday so hope he sees goals for us

From speaking to a couple of hibee friends they are dreading this game as much as we are.

Scrappy game with scrappy goals conceded by both teams. 2-2.

I really hope Meshino doesn't start - I don't think he's ready to handle a pressure derby.

Uche up front and Maclean hopefully dropped altogether.

That would be my team too. I’m slightly confident we can sneak a victory.

Joel Sked has just posted that same team in Evening News

What makes you think that? We need our best players and he is certainly one of our best, even based on 2 games off the bench

Beaton is the referee so we'll be lucky to have 11 players on the pitch come full-time.

Some of us worry we don't have 11 players on the pitch at kickoff :(

I'm just worried from what I've seen of him so far that he's a bit lightweight and not ready for the Scottish game, especially a derby. I reckon a few meaty challenges and he will either react badly and be sent off or be marked out of the game.

Just a feeling, I may be well off the mark.

He will come in for a few challenges, early impressions for me, are that he seems robust, mentally and physically. Solid frame. I see him scoring a Templeton like goal to win the match, Levein running the length of the touchline to crowd surf with the Hearts end, dragged in, never to be seen again

I will be delighted if Pereira, Smith and Naismith are all fit to start.

Only tweak I would make to this team is to leave Uche out and play Naismith up front so either

Morrison Meshino Mulraney

                 Naismith

Or

Clare Meshino Mulraney

           Naismith

Honestly can't see us getting anything out the game  tbh .

                    Pat

Smith.  Berra Halkett Hickey

     Damour.   Whelan

Clare.       Naisy.        Misho

                   Uche

Should be good enough to be that shower of shite , but  there is no guarantee that will be the team and confidence  is  low .

I'd leave Sean out of this one! If he does play, I really hope he does well. Thought Uche looked more like himself despite playing a killer pass for their 2nd goal

In these extraordinary circumstances I would normally say 0-0 but it's almost certain we will concede at least once so 1-1 in a game in which the ball will be carried off on a stretcher with hoof marks.

We’ve not been able to win a league game since March, doubt we’ll start now. Probably a defeat, possibly a draw, guaranteed individual errors all over the shop 😞

The assumption is that the derby has to be a battle and that Uche is required for that. But I'd prefer we just aim to play good football hence the combination of pace and skill in my front four.

If Connor Smith can cope this guy can cope easy.

Pasquale for King

Have I missed Naismith being declared fit to play never mind start, bench at best surely.
