JamboSpur
It’s fair to say that injuries are having a negative impact; Haring Soutar Naismith Walker There’s 4 starters. With these guys back fit would Hearts be doing any better? You’d have to say yes.
JamboSpur
Add Washington. I know there are physios who specialise in prevention and some in rehab. What do we have? What can can we do better to prevent so many injuries?
busby1985
The unfittest Hearts side I have seen for many a year. Physically and mentally unfit. As for the injuries, no doubt will be impacting us but I can’t help but feel now it’s negligence on our part. One bad run of injuries can be considered unlucky, two can be coincidence, 3 is a trend. Robbie Neilson had us doing triple sessions to play in the Vida league, we looked incredibly fit and won loads of our games by just being physically and mentally sharper than the teams we came up against. We look a long way off that now. I laughed at the Roy Keane interview when he talked about Ward and Walters “programs”. Wonder how many of our current crop get away with this patter. mscjambo
Mate he's got international players there and can't get a tune from them. Even minus these guys we should still be beating Ross county, Hamilton and Motherwell at home.
Romulus
The injuries excuse has long run it’s course. He has signed a ridiculous amount of players including several injury prone ones at that.
JamboSpur
The players listed are all on field leaders, it’ll have an effect.

Agree with all of this. They all look knackered within 5 mins.

Would love to see our goals scored to goals conceded stats for goals in the last 20 minutes of games. Individual errors come from being mentally unfit. That can be due to being played out of position, not knowing your role etc and getting yourself in knots. Mental fitness is the biggest weakness in our side. At 3-1 yesterday I think everyone knows this side just isn’t physically and mentally capable of getting back into the game.
