See if you lived in a flat that overlooked a football ground, you'd watch out the window wouldn't you.

I like Arboaths Ground.

Great ground to play at 👌🏻 Great wee ground too. Lot of the Tayside/Angus ones have a bit of character

So he is, and Jason Thomson just scored for Arbroath

This could have been about 3-0 to Arbroath, the Patrick keeper has saved a few.

Patrick don't seem that good atm, not much variety in attack.

Hearts connections on both sides. Decent game this, Thistle keeper Fox having a great game.

Arbroath looked good in the Cup games and against Dunfermline....

HT 1-0 . Arbroath deserve a bigger lead. Partick looking a bit devoid of ideas at times. You'd wonder who the full timers are if you didn't know.

I'm watching on mute, was the Patrick substitution cos of an injury, or tactical.

Brought up in 144 Gorgie Road. Top flat. Just up from Willie Baulds shop. Could see the whole pitch.

For any full time footballer who says he's tired I hope he just watched the bit about Bobby Linn's day 😱

Patrick Thistle are sort of annoying me now. Once you understand that they cross from the right to the left, thats it.

That's a penalty

Zanatta booked for 'diving'.

In slow motion looked like a dive, Imo. Frustrating for Zanattta, he looks a bit quality, but can't get into this game cos Thistle are just launching the ball.

Kenny Miller just equalised.

67m now, maybe the fitness over 90m is starting to show up.

Patrick still seem a bit clueless at how to attack. The long punts are hurting my brain.

Our Aunt Jessie (actually my grandfather's sister) had a flat there in the 60s - must have been a lower one as I remember we couldn't see the Gorgie road end goals and had to guess by the crowd reaction whether we had scored. Used to stand on a seat at the window to get a better view, as a 7/ 8 year old back in 1964 or so  - happy old days. She worked as a waitress for Alan Gordon IIRC

During the 70’s for me. House was always rammed for the bigger games. 3 windows crammed. 😂. Export and Tennents cans everywhere 😂

Wrong offside. Arbroath goal should have stood. Bad one.

I am always wary when we read all week about how bad a teams record is at a particular ground or a particular team

All week we have read about the poor stats Newcastle have but it has to end sometime and given Liverpool's recent run the law of averages might come into play

Still 2-1 Liverpool it is then but so far Newcastle organised though a long way to go

I think they've caught Liverpool on a good day. Bruce needs to reiterate that at half time, alot of Liverpool players having poor games. More goals there for them. Didn't expect this sort of lax and slow type of game from them (better there though)

How was that not a penalty ?

You get some you don't get others but that looked pretty clear

Even with VAR not given

What a goal for Liverpool  another great strike and 1-1 !!! Mane

Goal Liverpool..Mane again

Slack play by Newcastle and perhaps goalie should have collected it but left with a tap in

2-1

Mane is just in fantastic form right now

Bobby Firmino is one of the most underrated players in world football.

Heres a stat for you, Liverpool are the only team in English football to win 14 top flight games scoring 2 or more in every game. They are scary good.

Well done Frank Lampard. There is a thread for him which we'll come back to. But playing the youngsters is giving Chelsea some new vigour. He doesn't have to play Mount and Abraham. Mount in the England squad  last week and an Abraham hatrick today. Other young players signing long contracts.

A reminder. Since Abramovich came in 16 years ago no young Chelsea academy player has established themselves in first team.

Ayr United beat Dundee United, Shankland didn't score.

Hibs lost again, always a good thing.

Stoke lost again, and they must be nearing their worst ever start to a season.

Chelsea beat Wolves away 2-5, Abraham hat-trick.

Norwich are currently 2-0 up at home to Man City. Kenny McLean scored the first.

The only other result of real interest to me us the Hibs one.  We are bottom and they are 3rd bottom.

Not sure if crisis is the word but in such a heavily populated region, we are both currently inept.
