EH17Hertz
Do you think if Warnock had been on the run Levein has had in 2019 he would still be in the sane job?
Spellczech
perhaps he should've spoken up about this 20 years ago...?

132goals1958
Just what we need right enough --- a senior citizen only a few years younger than me topping up his pension whilst making use of his holiday home in Dunoon.

Not sure he'd be better than CL- time would tell, my gut feeling is that he'd be brilliant or absolutely shite. No in between. Ffs he couldn’t be any worse than Levein. No one knows if a 70 year old Warnock would do better or worse with Hearts. No one knows either way for sure. No matter how much you want it to a fact, no one knows. As for Locke, he wasn't in the top 6 and never made it a sc final so the comparison is all wrong. Deary me

I actually thought Cardiff played some decent stuff when watching them last season. They did mate, against teams with far superior budgets to them as well, it would have been a miracle had they stayed up really.

A friend of mine saw him training one of his teams down south. I think it was Sheffield. He said it reminded him more of rugby. Good at what he does. But not what we need. And all managers have a sell by date. He has reached his. Wenger stayed beyond his. Ferguson understood this and left just before his. Saying all this. If I was given free hand to chose a realistic new manager, I have no idea what I'd go for. Track record, country, style, age/experience etc... It's a tough one. But it definitely wouldn't be a 70 year old industrial football specialist.
