Borders railway - bus replacement on Saturday

Recommended Posts

BarneyBattles

Just a heads up for those of us who use this service to get to the games. There's a bus replacement service between Gorebridge and Edinburgh all day Saturday so either leave plenty time or choose a different mode of transport.

Cheers.

Think it is the same scenario from Bathgate.

Bus service from Bathgate to Edinburgh as well.

Helensburgh services leaving and finishing at Bathgate.

They way I read it was that Edinburgh to Bathgate will be by bus.

Trains start at Bathgate for onward travel.

Borders Hearts run a bus which used to stop at Gorebridge Toll to pick up a lad and his kids you should try them they drop off and pick up at top of Ardmillan if your interested.

Trains definitely running from Livingston North every 30 mins as opposed to the usual 15 mins for anyone that's interested.

Don't think they are.According to the above there are no trains running between Edinburgh and Bathgate..

So that rules out Livingston  North and Uphall.

My train up the East coast is diverting via Carlisle after Newcastle. Arriving in Waverley at 11.53 instead of 10.23.

And then there's the work going on in Edinburgh - I'll never get to The Diggers 🙄
