Texts , social media , posts etc you can interpret any way you want really can’t they. I just think claiming someone should be fined for it is ludicrous.

He might be on to something... mind that time Lafferty posted a picture of ‘Club Orange’ fizzy pop, and @Geoff Kilpatrick swiftly dived in to assure everyone it was nothing to do with going to Sevco. It was just a popular NI soda drink...

I agree.  No player would be able to drop to a level of fitness that's not acceptable due to how they are monitored nowadays,  just though with the things he posted were maybe things he misses from home.  Apart from a couple of item, I've never seen those products here.  How fit does a goalkeeper have to be cardio wise compared to outfield players?  Though I did think lafferty was at it with his club orange stuff.

He’s got a strain from kicking, if you read between the lines he’s not used to kicking the ball hence the injury. Is that not clear, what’s your take on it? He’s still not fit, more disinformation from our manager.

Stop it

Why did he go back then if the sports scientist and medical department at Riccarton are so great? It’s nice that you feel so empowered to slate a fellow Hearts supporter who’s dedicated his working life to coaching kids and spent a fortune getting qualifications you could only dream of. Sorry if he makes you and your pals feel inadequate. Also you wouldn’t say that to his face I guarantee you that, or mine.

I would guess that's because he lives in the Manchester area and has gone back to his parent club for treatment.

It's sad that you have empowered yourself to slate Hearts Fitness/Medical team (as well as continually doing the same with every other part of the club) who no doubt have spent hours and days getting qualifications to work at a TOP SPL club.  You must feel inadequate and terribly jealous of their getting qualifications you can only dream of.  I dare you to say some of these things to Big Craigie's face.

I have my own qualifications that I’m rightly proud of from an university in the top 20 in the world , I envy nobody or their qualifications little Al.

I would say it to his face no problem, I saw him hit a Hearts fan in the street from behind nearly 30 years ago, he’s no hard man.

Well done.  Were these qualificatons in Fitness or Football Coaching/Management?

You certainly talk a good game

Nope, would it matter though as you and your wee snidely pal don't respect someone who has those qualifications do you, or only when they don’t say what you want to hear?

The manager talks a good game but can’t replicate it on the pitch, and you still defend him and stalk me all over the JKB boards 🙈

Leave me alone now.

Yes, it does matter.  You are aware of the thread title, aren't you?

Well I don't have any qualifications in the medical/fitness field either but I am not shouting the odds like you and hiding behind someone else's (distant) opinion.

As regards following you about the board, I wouldn't be able to' do so if you didn't spout so much unsubstantiated rubbish in your anti-CL quest.  We should be talking about injuries not the manager talking a good game.  You''re all the board and many unrelated  threads with that repetitive tripe.

Re your last sentence, you sound like a liitle baby.  Mummy, there's a big boy not letting me have my own way.

See you can’t even follow what people are saying, I gave you an experts opinion and you and your snidey little pal ignored it and even ridiculed it, that’s why I asked does it matter you clueless *****. Yet you have a go at me for questioning the staff at the club, it’s ok for you?

You have no expertise, no facts, no ideas.

Nothing little or babyish about me you slavering stalker, if you’re unlucky enough to ever meet me you will realise that.

You would need to be careful though. You wouldn’t want to come across like that old boy who used to follow him around demanding he listen to his views on club management because he has a business degree. Not a good look that.

If he talks a good game he should probably get a job at hearts. All we get is constant chat but no problems being solved.

So if you have a medical problem you can just call the doc and he/she will make a diagnosis over the phone without access to necessary data or discussion with the patient..  Do you not think the doc might wish to see you , ask questions about the area of pain/discomfort etc, maybe send you for an X-ray.scan etc before a more likely diagnosis is made.  That's what Hearts have done using top specialists as well.

Now no disrespect to your man but he hasn't done all of that but you give him the "facts" as you (unqualified) see them and he gives an opinion which you (unqualified) acccept willingly because of your hostility towards the manager.

Re your last sentence I think it is best ignored as just childish and stupid.    Pease understand that if you write pish you should expect to be challenged

It's good to see that this thread has gone to shit just like most of the others on JKB just now.

Posters with unpopular opinions cannot be ignored and will  be trolled into submission. It's the Kickback way.

I remember going to an Edinburgh rugby training session a couple of years ago, there was a board in one of the training rooms with a list of nutritional information showing what was permissible to eat at certain restaurants, one of which was Nando’s. Not telling the players that they couldn’t go to these places but be mindful of what they have ie no chips but opt for rice instead, this shows that the coaches understand that the players need to socialise but are trying to educate them in what they can still eat and the different options that are available to them.

Last season Hearts made videos of the younger players having cookery lessons, not aware of the club educating the younger players with nutritional advice on what’s best to eat when eating out, i could be wrong with that though. And I am aware that each player will have different needs but that will have to be up to the club sports scientist.

Surely you need to provide both?

Or is that level 3?

I didn’t say they aren’t, whether the players actually listen to them and eat properly away from the club is a different thing. As I said a quick look at social media would show otherwise. Here’s one example from Doyle.

I think that you have taken this out of context, why did you not add in the text that Doyle was given this as a valentines present from his wife.

Yeah you’re

right,  I thought I had. Still not the brightest thing to advertise, especially also saying these are some of your favourite snacks.

Slightly different for rugby players or other sports, depending on what their particular position etc.

Jesus **** you are clueless.

You should see some of the meals I ate at a peak fitness and at that point i could run 20km play football for 120mins and leg press 650kg and that was in my late 30s.

If you need evidence of this certain posters can easily back me up and @RS86 i’m sure will be able to tell you some of the stuff he ate at times.

Vince McMahon - Owner of WWE when in an amazing physical shape and wrestling in his 50s would have a cheat day where he would eat packets upon packets of biscuits during the day. One of my mates is an IBFF pro and what she eats at times is mental. Iv seen her on a rest day demolish two large dominos pizzas and then go to an ice cream chain and have crepes filled with things like nutella , ice cream , flakes etc.

Physical activity levels and metabolism necessitate junk food sometimes IMO, it's fast readily available calories, sodium, carbs. If that was part of his daily intake there would maybe be an issue, but alongside a well structured diet that's absolutely fine and will have benefits to athletic performance.

Re posting it on social media, probably be boring if he posted a run of the mill meal, where as that's far more likely to get reactions and comments. I think people are wise enough to know that isn't the basis of his diet (making an assumption here btw, perhaps he does eat total rubbish)

Don't bring what I eat into this though @sadj lol, I went off the deep end during injury and have only just started eating well again recently . Rule of thumb for me is 80% clean 20% junk (but junk includes pizzas, burgers etc which can actually still be OK depending what and where from)

8 injuries in 6 matches. Bad luck? Bad training?

Clearly they set out in training to have load of injuries during a match .

every game this season has had an injury to an influential player it has to be bad  luck .

I don’t think they’re fit and the training is part of the reason. We constantly have a massive injury list. We have for 3 years.

Players looked completely unfit today. Knackered by half time.

A bit like how he said Naismith would be fine for the Hamilton game last Friday after training all week.

Chuck in the fact that he said Naismith and Souttar were touch and go for the Celtic game!!!

Wee bit of a pattern emerging here 😏

To get back to some on pitch chat, any updates on our injured players being ready, Naisy goalie smithy???

Have heard Naisy hasn't trained all week but Smith should be fine.

As for the goalie, don;t know. Be struggling even if we could play all 3 of our keepers lol

If Naismith isn’t fit again for this weekend he is proving to be a fairly poor signing.
