Let's see how well attended the protest is. Happy to be proven wrong if it's more than 50-100 or so (not including the UJ lot and the bunch we all know are very annoyed with Budge for not letting them do what they want). Hopefully we win well so there's no appetite for a protest. I'm sure you agree :)

Exactly.  Fans aren't hoping we are pish just so they can continue to hate someone they've never met.  What they do hate is seeing us being shite for nearly three years.   No one wants him to fail, he just isn't getting results on the park.

The things is the eejits who have vocally wanted Levein out (and anyone appointed by him, eg Neilson) since he walked in the door mean that Levein can ignore a certain amount of the criticism he's getting now. They've actually harmed their case by banging on about Levein and jumping on anything he does wrong and blowing it up and largely ignoring the good things he's done for 5 years (I include Gary Mackay and Michael Stewart in that group).

There actually is a growing strong case for sacking Levein as head coach but a lot of the people calling for his sacking don't have any credibility because it's so obvious they hate the guy for some reason. When the bulk of the Heart support let Levein know they want him out he'll know it and he'll be off.

Definitely, I think the time where the majority let him know might well come soon enough. Do you know any Levein fans,I speak to a lot of Jambos and everyone wants him out the dugout.

Fair enough.  Why do keep playing the levein haters card when that's not the reason for them wanting change?

They've had enough  don't say that its only on line fans when, at the last home game they were pretty vocal in letting him know they wanted him to go?  Maybe it was just folk who post in here.

You'd rather give the job to McCann until the end of the season rather than advertise the job to see what our options are? Happy to take the numpty comment from you if that's the case.

Budge to blame for giving him too much control at the club...blind faith if you like.

Sadly I have to agree. After giving him the position of D of F there was absolutely no good reason why she had to make Levein a full Board Director.

To be honest with you.  I hate Gary Mackay a lot more than I'll ever hate levein due to personally seeing him in action socially but, if he was managing the club and doing well, I wouldn't want him sacked.  And I do really dislike Gary Mackay.

I honestly think Budge will kick him back upstairs or tell him to take a leave before it gets to that stage. There are really only two scenarios here. Either we'll get to the cup semi and climb up the league, even if it's a slow climb - Levein will stay. We'll lose the next few games, including a derby and the cup tie, meaning we're anchored to the bottom - Levein will walk or be pushed. It'll be interesting to see what happens if we win a couple and lose a couple and win the cup tie. I suspect unless we have a replacement lined up, Levein will stay rather than having McPhee and Daly in charge for a month or so.

An entire calendar year of disappointing football and results only ends one way. There aren't people at the club with the coaching skill sets to turn this around. In many ways the biggest surprise to me was Levein not changing the coaching set up during the summer. It doesn't matter if you improve the players you bring in (notable that Clare and Mulraney are the only regulars from last summer's signings) they need organised and coached.

The bottom line is McPhee has been synonymous with the failure of two managers and contacts within the game should not keep you in the job. Fox and Daly will end up working for John Colquhoun within 6 months of being emptied.

Very many Hearts fans who want Levein to go will not attend this protest.

Don’t assume if only “50 - 100” turn up that they are the only ones wanting him out!

I haven’t mentioned mcann. I liked the sound of freedman or boothroyd last time around. Or my preference is Robbo for a couple of years then Naismith then michael oneill. Just thought today that if we’re stuck this season, JJ as caretaker wouldn’t be the worst idea.

Thats basically what I said. Once the majority make their feelings clear they’ll get the change they want. Then everyone can argue about who the next manager will be instead. Anyhow, I seem to have been arguing about this for a couple of days, obviously got too much time on my hands.

I think Robbo has to do something with Inverness first.  I would just advertise it and see what our options are.  Anything else is restricting our options.  We don't only have to go for out of work managers.  If it costs more money than someone who is, then so be it.  We'll get the money back and more if they deliver the goods.  Off course nothing is guaranteed, but you we can't stick with what we've got because of it.  Just dont put restrictions on our options.

Damour, Whelan, Meshino and Peirera have had what two games each at most under Levein? Others of his signings like Walker and Naismith have been injured. The new signings that have played - Washington and Halkett - have looked very good. Unless we have some ridiculous disaster in the next couple of games there's absolutely no doubt he'll be given a few more games at minimum to see what he can do with the team he put together. Rightly IMO. Otherwise, why back him in the transfer market? The time to get rid of him was before the summer.

Definitely if they thought he wasn't up to another season (I thought he was unlucky with the injuries last year personally and delivered a good run in the cup). We didn't get rid of him then though so give him the chance to work with his signings, a few games at least FFS.

I don’t trust him to get the best out of those signings though.

a motivated Craig Levein from years ago maybe yes but the one we have now!!

no way, for the good of the club and his own health he needs to call it a day and if he doesn’t then mrs budge needs to make the call for him.

The time was definitely in the summer. He has signed some great players, has his best ever squad, yet we are joint bottom of the league. His style of play is archaic, everyone knows what it is and how to better it, he just keeps doing the same things with different players. It doesn’t work.

He won’t, he never has in all the years he’s been a manager. The style football stays the same, the formation or pressing against Celtic is all that changes. Change the players, hope they can create something out of nothing or score from a set piece.

Levien fans

Levien haters

We're  all hearts fans

The simple fact is results are not good enough and haven't been for a good while .

The only thing most sensible  fans want is hearts to win ,so when we ain't winning folk are going to get annoyed.

If we string a run of wins together all will change if we don't then folk will vent their frustrations

There’s four questions, three indicate 54% want him to remain at the club. Two of them show over 90% want him sacked as manager, if that’s a victory then congratulations 👏🏾👍🏽🙈.

Do you know anyone that wants him to stay as manager? Every Facebook group is over 90% too, everyone I talk too which is literally 60-100 people want him out, most fans on here say the same. Go and check any post by the club and see how many people want him out, compared to those that defend him.

Most pubs or work places groups of friends .( and they'll  support hearts through thick and thin)

To put it in simple terms there's a major part of our fan  base had enough .

You only need to look at the crowds at home games to realise everything  aint good

Worrying, ‘no matter what’, ..... a victory on Saturday ‘kick starts’ a great run of results, League Cup won by Christmas, top 4 in league by January, then after the winter break the run keeps going ..... but ... ‘folk rightly want him gone’ ......... interesting!!!
