My half sister
Willie sadly died a few weeks ago and in case anyone hadn't heard, his funeral is at Mortonhall tomorrow at 2.45 then a celebration of his life at the Gorgie Suite. Willie was a season ticket holder but probably better known as a cricketer, playing for Stirling County, Penicouk and Warwickshire as well as Scotland. For more than 30 years, he was head groundsman at George Watsons school. Willie was a great character and lovely guy who always had a smile on his face. I knew him from his Stirling days and my dad coached him as a junior cricketer at Stirling County. I'm sure there will be a large turnout for a guy taken too soon. Rest in Peace Willie

four winds jambo
I heard Bumble mention him during the test. Had no idea he was a JT. Sounds like he was a good lad.
