You have to admit an open principled politician.

Despite what you may think of his religious and political views would you like to see more of his type representing your arguments?

He's an exemplar Tories' Tory with a political / societal philosophy fully red in tooth and claw.      The only mitigating quality of the man is that he doesn't pretend to be a so-called 'one nation conservative',   aka rat in disguise.

Grossly privileged parasites like him should be nowhere near public office in this day and age,     but sadly there seems to still be a large enough number of people to sustain his type's existence,   all for the perception that the other lot will suddenly redistribute all wealth in a huge communist revolution.

Yes he is a highly intelligent person.    It seems highly unlikely that someone of obvious knowledge and intelligence is not aware of the dangerous consequences resulting from the agenda of a hard crash Brexit.     One can only conclude that he and his kind have no regard whatsoever for the effects it will have on less privileged people.

It is no accident that he is the Leader of the House.     He has an extensive knowledge of parliamentary proceedure.    You may bank on the fact that he is there for the purpose of forcing through a hard Brexit in the face of determined opposition.      They would have been as well to title him 'Secretary of State for thwarting the will of parliament'.

Pop Quiz: Who said this?

"We could have two referendums.

As it happens,  it might make more sense to have the second referendum after the renegotiation is completed."

So you accept he’s a highly intelligent person.

‘One can only conclude’, 😂 Lots of other conclusions could be reached, unless your own bias prevent you from considering them

Maybe your conclusion is wrong and his right? That brexit is best for UK, I don’t think so, but I concede I might be wrong that happens.

Off course is no accident he’s leader of house, he was appointed to the position! It’s not like bojo decide lets do this by drawing straws🤷🏻‍♂️

More empty rhetoric that bojo!

Interesting that you don’t want parts of society represented you don’t agree with. I think they call that prejudice,

:tlj:

Not sure where to start with this random verbal soup.    Spoiled for choice.    I'll mull it over.

Well I will certainly never apologise for or lose any sleep over holding prejudices about people like Boris Johnson,   JRM and a large part of the cabinet.     I'm entirely comfortable in that.

If you don't think he's shorting the pound and enjoying every minute of this fiasco then you're as stupid as he thinks you are.

Joking aside the pound being shorted is a ****ing massive issue. The consequences of the pound being shortened, to extent i fear will happen, is massive long term on this country.

We’re due a recession, overdue one, it’s coming it’s just going to be compounded by a variety issues. Increased imports costs etc etc and inflation which has been artificially suppressed  is a horrible combo. Plus we’ve never fully recovered from ‘austerity’ period.

Stock/shares/market are at peak it can’t continue and rebalance and subsequent increase is coming,  (shocks are generally very short term problem is most people panic and don’t or can’t afford to sit through)

It’s not the end of the world. It’s more akin to thunder storms clearing the weather.

The pound needs stabilised and quickly imo or this will get ugly☹️

I think him and his ilk are making millions from it and dont give a **** either way as it doesnt affect them.

I'll give you the fact he doesnt get flustered, nor does he resort to the name calling which is absolutely destroying politics. Politicians should be jailed for lying, swindling the public purse and absolutely should not be allowed to have ANY vested interests. Unfortunately, the exact opposite of this is now true and voter apathy is at insane levels. There isnt one high level politician with a spine and some balls that I can think off.

Aye, I'm sure Hitler, Stalin and Trump would do a fine job for Scotland. In fact send up Tommy and Nige anaw. I'm sure they could have wee walkabout with The FM in Govanhill. That would be good, wouldn't it Jake?

Regal Kingston

He’s a capable politician with good manners. Whenever he has been interviewed or on any panels JRM always comes across well. Courteous and lets people have their say in the debate.

However he has made £7m from Brexit and beneath the stoic Victorian Exterior is a greedy self-serving arsehole who doesn’t care what happens to his fellow countryman as long as his business interests are thriving.

It’s disgusting that people are actually profiting from this utter mess.

I feel sorry for his son too. He should be out playing with his friends rather than canvassing for the Conservatives like a Victorian Dad mini-me. The lad wears a shirt and tie on holiday! Odd.
