scott herbertson
2004. The owner of Bar Nimeta one day had a very attractive lady in. He came across to us and explained it was Miss Estonia and she was gettting married and that it was her birthday on the day of the game. As a birthday 'surprise' she would be brought on the pitch and as a favour t him could we tell everybody to sing "happy birthday Miss Estonia" for her What could go wrong????? We did suggest it wasn't a great idea, but he went ahead anyway She did get a round of happy birthday (though most people were too pissed to know why they were singing it Unfortunately it was irresistably followed by a resounding chorus of "GET YOUR **** OUT FOR THE LADS" Which the Nimeta guy had to explain to her on the pitch - God knows what he said we (sorry 'they') were singing, but she seemed happy enough! Still got the flyer we were all handed at the match asking us to sing Happy Birthday somewhere I seem to recall that the guy was a Lib Dem or SNP councillor or something like that. Can't remember his name GC
