On paper you may be correct but I think Clare really needs to step up this season and show if he has what it takes. Last season he had the odd moments where he did quite well with assists and scored six goals I think but he wasn't involved enough in the majority of games which you need to be if playing in a central mid role. Walker is so injury prone as he has shown already that he can't be counted on to be a regular starter which really just leaves the young guys unless we sign someone else. Haring is a worry because we don't really know how long he is going to be out for and we are still in the dark with Naismith and even if he does sign what are his fitness levels like? Given that this injury has persisted for over 6 months and with all the technology at Riccarton we’ve keep hearing about the lad must be really pissed off.
