But, if you pay big for a player your setting yourself up for big wages and that's not something we should be doing ever again unless you can guarantee a player being worth it, or a proper investment. Being supporter owned will make investment more difficult I'd imagine though. Developing our own players is the only feasible route forward for us, the signs are already there if you look.
