He made mistakes, the hibs game being the one that sent fans into orbit, the Euro games are a nightmare at that time of year and we just weren’t ready. He had just started to get a more expansive style before he went south. I hear this line he jumped ship first chance, that’s from those he realise what has followed is complete dugshite and had Neilson still been in charge we’d be very much a different side! Signing Conor Sammon to a three year deal was certainly up there with his biggest mistakes.

The irony of this is we edged out Aberdeen to his signing. The same Aberdeen who are constantly held up as an example of making effective signings that we should try and do the same as. Not saying i don't agree Sammon was a disaster, but just interesting how these things work out.
dannymack
Aberdeen FC, Scottish Premier League Champions 1984/85. There's no such a thing as 3rd biggest club in Scotland, Glasgow Rangers and celtic ARE Scottish football whether we like it or not. Fantastic for clubs out with those two to win the Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup 😭 on the odd occasion but apart from that the big one will evade us all until an obscene amount of money, top class management with a sprinkling of lady luck falls into the lap of the 'other clubs' then we'll need to make do with feeding off the scraps.
