Don’t know if this is a joke or not, but I think Moyes would be a Burleyesque appointment at a club like ours. I’d like it o be true, if Levein has decided he’s had enough of being manager.

I don’t believe this for one minute - fits with nothing we have been working towards.

I’d be disappointed with this.

He’d be sniffing around the Celtic job as soon as Lennon gets the wobbles and back down south within a year if he is half decent.

Will have no loyalty to us at all.

Hysteria reaching its peak now, how can you not love the close season! I'm going for installation of WiFi as my new surprise guess.

How do you watch a game of football without watching one of the teams? I’m intrigued now ...

My thoughts exactly. He may have been watching both teams seeing as he was in for the Scotland job at the time.

? the new Kilmarnock manager only had his eyes on them right enough.

Any manager or player who has any ambition wants to manage/ play at a higher level.

If he’s successful then it means we’ve been which surely should be job done. He’s done more and managed at a higher level than Clarke has and everyone jizzes themselves over him.

Him and Clarke were the wow options I was talking about.

Aye, and Clarke was loyal as well to Killie ...

Folk contridict themselves all the time in here. It's not even funny anymore.

Completely different context.

Moyes has been EPL.  He will want back there ASAP - he isn’t getting any younger.

We want some form of continuity

Doubt he will work with a peer of his as a DOF.

So we’d be ripping up the entire structure we have been working to and is working in particular at the youth levels with a number of exciting players close to breaking through.

His teams also played pretty shite football for the money he had to spend.

None of it works for us IMO

Don’t see how I am contradicting myself - never had an opinion about Clarke.

Killie aren’t seriously attempting to become Scotland’s third force. They can’t simply because they can’t retain players after one good season and they don’t have the fan base.  So they don’t need continuity - they need to do enough to survive.

We are trying to build something that is reliant on as much continuity as possible and not chopping and changing managers if we can avoid it.

He's the EPL Craig Levein, you'll never win anything but you'll be steady, hard to beat, and get into the top half of the table every year.

So thats a no from me.

Let’s be honest if Craig Levein was going to step down he would have done so after the cup final....the crap people make up on here is pretty worrying.

Continuity has led us to two 6th place finishes. A fresh approach should be welcome. Unless you're just happy to have a club to support.

Phil D. Corners

I don’t think there is any substance to this rumor, but Moyes to Hearts would not be fantasy.

Out of work a few years, didn’t get the Celtic job, didn’t get the Scotland job, so this is about his level and no support.

He was West Ham manager in 2018. In the English Premier League. Moyes would be an unbelievable coup. More chance of getting the corners filled in.

Moyes would be massive Ffs.

Folk need to get a grip on reality...

Moyes would be meh.

Conte, on another thread apparently plays hoofball!

Guys like Mcgennis not good enough.

What are folks expectations of us? The last few weeks have been an eye opener.

Moyes ex Everton, man utd, Valencia (or real socidad (sp) and west ham manager in the last 5 years... Nah...

Also, some folk stroking themselves into a frenzy over Killie appointing a coach that is semi retired and never managed on his own and probably couldn't find Scotland on a map, never mind Kilmarnock.

It's like the twilight zone on here.

IF it is true then that would be some appointment. Yeah the guy's career has went a bit off the rails, but look at the level he's managed at and the contacts he will have in the game. Shame its probably all shite.

Been scanning jkb now and again since end of the season with the odd post made.

Some folk, maybe plenty, needed a close season themselves away from this place!

Agree with all of this.

Someone suggested David Wagner recently as a realistic replacement for Levein. When it’s revealed that folk think Moyes / Wagner are realistic targets, the anti Levein sentiment becomes more understandable. Such a basic lack of football knowledge and commercial understanding amongst us.

Regardless of wages or any other factors, do folk think Ann Budge is going to employ this type of man?

On pre season or overall?

Pre season

Buy at least 3 of proven players at this level/ league. 4 minutes Djoum leaves

Walker, Milinkovic, Mcgennis and ofc Halkett would be great business.

I'd also expect a  maybe 2/3 development type players, Cletus etc.

If CL gets replaced, I want a wow signing. Moyes fits that. Not a McCann type.

Overall.

Always top 4

Cup runs, bit luck  but a trophy every so often.

I also think rangers are catchable of we can get a bit luck.

The minimum aim of  continuing to improve achieved.

The style of football is irrelevant - only idiots bang on about that and in any case results will determine what the fans will think.

Off topic, so Moyes as manager would very much meet any expectations I have in terms of managerial appointments.

It's crazy.

Moyes just isn't an unrealistic target, he's one that folk are saying no thanks too!

Conte playing hoofball is a belter too.

Folk in previous debates have also brought up Liverpool and the likes, as you say it  really shades light on the way they think and why Hearts make them so unhappy.

The "press all the time" tactic and you win was a belter as well. It works sometimes so why not do it all the time.

Still no answer to the question of what if both teams do it?

Once I go on holiday, I think it's time for a break from here.

It's ****ing of the wall bat shit crazy atm.
