I tried them.

You would need an asbestos tongue to get through a bag of them.

No enjoyment to eating them and that's coming from some one who quite regular eats a Jal Bhuna from the Guru leftovers for breakfast.

Bunch of pansies

If you want hot, go to America and buy a bag of flaming hot cheetos, they're amazing.

Hot food doesn't really affect me whilst eating it, my arse however, is more sensitive than my mouth. I'm pretty sure Johnny Cash wrote a song about that very subject coming to think about it.

If you like to suffer whilst eating crisps, Golden Wonder Salt & Vinegar is the answer. So strong it actually hurts to eat them.

I like them, though.

I buy flaming hot Cheetos in Sainsbury's. Nice, but not terribly hot. Presumably the UK version is milder.

UK 'spicy' doesn't compare.

I'm surprised how few can handle hot spices. My work had to make their Chicken Vindaloo more mild because some clowns complained it was too spicy - ITS A BLOODY VINDALOO FFS, NOT A KORMA

I tried the extra hot ones when I was over a few years ago. Jesus wept.

Seabrook have a packet that are much worse, though.

They have these ones, which certainly look hotter than the ones you get here, which I wouldn't even say were hot at all.

Exactly. I love hot and spicy food. To order a hot dish, then complain it's toooooo hot must drive chef's/cooks nuts.

Pansies. Spot on.

I'm the same. I can tuck hot food away no problem but next day I'll have stomach cramps and then after some near liquid relief the sphincter will be absolutely fizzing

The Wasabi ones are not very hot at all and the 'fiery' chicken wing flavour do not match their description.

I mind buying a packet of habanero crisps from Lupe Pintos, when passing a few years back. Ate them walking along. I had to pop into a pub for a drink, and to wash my hands as I'd mistakenly touched my eye.  ?

I can't remember exactly what the crisps were, but they were something like this. I've not been in Lupe's for a while, does anyone know if they still sell crisps?

I like spicy and hot food, though seem not to cope with it as much as I use to.

That aside, I have never seen the point of food that is so hot, you just don’t taste anything, and all you do is burn instead.

I love spicy food, but with the lack of milk available in the fridge, I had to eat them in stages.

As usual, you’re right.

The folk that go on (and on) about the hot, hot food they eat, are probably the ones who couldn’t look a bloody Madras in the face without keeling over.

It’s all about Willy waving.

Same with the big strong beer drinkers, but that’s for a different thread!

Not very hot, but very good!

Would easily finish a whole bag if they weren't taken away from me.

Bought these tonight, not enjoyable!

From someone who can take a Vindaloo, Madras etc...Mrs KvC was raging when I let her try one after saying they weren't "too bad"

However, having said all of that, they are strangely addictive...

These were on the ‘official’ crisps thread started by Morgan

I asked a couple of times where they could be purchased, but never got a reply.

Where did you get yours tonight?

Thanks.

Fiery chicken wing ones are false advertising.

Very disappointing.

Completely. The Wasabi ones are a bit along the same lines.

I bought a pack of these in Scotmid the other day when I saw them reduced to 35p and thought back to this thread. They were nice but not hot at all. Would say that Thai Sweet Chilli Sensations are hotter than them.

I like the taste of them but they don't agree with me either. Same with those dorito stack things. Infact, I think there's so much additives and crap in most crisps I pretty much only eat tyrells salt and vinegar as they are about the only ones that don't have a dodgy effect on my stomach these days!!

These aren’t spicy.

Someone mentioned on the tread earlier that they found golden wonder salt and vinegar “hot”

I wouldn’t even classify myself as someone who has a high tolerance for spicy food. In fact a hot madras is about as spicy as it get for me. Even then I have to plan on a evening the next day on the shitter.

Салатные палочки

Best crisps out there right now. They are quite spicy but the flavour just makes you want more.

Can highly recommend melting some Mexican cheese over them.
