Aberdeen and Celtic away in our first 3 fixtures that's a shocker of a start

You mean you are saying Hearts shouldn't do the festival event and what else?

Spend more on players?

county away on a wednesday night what a farce was looking forward to that but not as appealing on a wednesday night! Notice all Celtics wednesday games are agasint teams at home or in the central belt.

Hibs away on the 21st when I’m away in Cardiff for the British Speedway GP. Hopefully the pub will have this on like they did the Raith League Cup match last year

Brighton Jambo

I think those fixtures look good.  Aberdeen away is a tough fixture but first game of season is always a chance to catch teams cold especially as we will have been playing league cup matches so should be match sharp.

Celtic away is a write off at best of times but they could be fretting about European qualification still and they started last season so slowly so maybe a glimmer of hope.

The rest of the first 10 look decent especially if we can make Tynecastle a fortress again.

I am excited now

You have to play everyone home and away once sometime. Let's get on with it. Respect all fear no one.

COME ON THE HEARTS.

I've seen worse. Folk naturally pick out the negatives, but first 5 games have 3 at home to Ross Co, Hamilton and Motherwell, well balanced set of fixtures, and a little bit different to previous years. No grumbles, except the only match whilst abroad will be home to Rangers, but that's my look out.

Nice short trip on day 1 for me :)

Midweek fixtures during winter to accommodate the winter break.

Absolute Scenes

If we are aiming for top 4 that is not a terrible start, could be a lost worse

There's definitely capacity for more wins than losses in the first 10 games

Lets do this Hearts!

Season should start a week earlier to discount one of them, but European ties and Internationals make it very difficult to place midweek games anywhere else, and all of the teams want the winter break

I know what you mean but as you say a week earlier would help.

Say What Again

Aberdeen, Celtic and Hibs all away in the first 6 games.

No doubt have to go back away to one of them again if we make top 6.

Dagger Is Back

Thought I read somewhere that when the fixtures were announced, that they would have already had the first round ‘adjusted’ for TV?

Maybe I imagined it

Not sure why they haven’t done so https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.scotsman.com/sport/football/hibernian/spfl-2019-20-fixtures-release-date-tv-and-other-key-dates-everything-you-need-to-know-1-4944851/amp

Pain in the arse for me

Quite happy most the midweek games after the turn of the year are away from home. Means I can stay at home instead of freezing my ****ing bollocks off.

Some people don't understand the importance of momentum. A good start is essential.

Hmmm. What did that do for us this past season  :)

But generally I agree, however 3 very good home fixtures, win those and pick up even 1 win from those other 3 and you are in a strong position.

So we win the first few games then.

Defeatist attitudes are for losers.

How many times have our away games to County been midweek?

Other than that, no complaints. Good to get Aberdeen and Celtic away out the way early.
