Under the ownership of Ann budge the transformation has been unbelievable. 1. Won championship easily. 2. Next again season played European football. 3. Football academy being rebuilt from almost scratch. 4. New state of the art main stand. 5. Hearts museum. 6. Wheatfield undercroft finally being finished. 7. Memorial garden. 8. Gorgie suite refurbished. 9.brand new pitch and under soil heating. 10. TV studio. 11. Cup semi final. 12. Cup final. 13. Investing in hearts womans team. All this and more in 5 years , instead of the stick Mrs Budge receives from some she should get freedom of Edinburgh in my opinion ! Yes 5 years ago we were all celebrating that the cloud that had hung over Hearts, since Romanov and his mafia disappeared putting Hearts into administration, had been resolved by the administrators, Ann Budge, the Foundation of Hearts and ordinary Hearts fans. We owe everybody who helped save Hearts a massive thankyou from the kids who donated their pocket money to Ann Budge and those of us who helped out financially. The support from the fans attending games through this period helped the administrators big time and showed them just how big Hearts were and that everything should be done to save this great club. The Academy, training facilities are all in place to succeed the only thing that needs to improve is the recruitment and performances of our first team. This season should / must have an improved team / squad that competes in all competitions and plays attractive attacking football i think we all deserve that after all our support have been through. I believe in the next 5 years our kids will play a bigger part in first team football and we may already get some 6 figure sums for some of them. This would again be another income stream to help grow the club. And this will help the football side of club. Better young players and more budget.
