The place went mental when Bannon scored.

The 7 nil game was round about Christmas IIRC?

Only ground I've been to that the fans also change ends at half time!

Was common at one time, even at Tynecastle.

Arbroath is nice yes

do you like it?

Smokies there are to die for. I went one time about 40 (?) years ago. We won 7-0 and there were maybe 8,000 in their park which needs some PR work regarding naming...?

The 7-0 game was the coldest I can ever remember being at any football match. Very exposed to the elements.

The Bannon game was utterly mental, and a lot warmer!

Tutties neuk. If it hasn't changed name.

It hasn't. Come to think of it nothing else has changed in the last 40 years either.

Just for info there's a bar inside the ground. Normally open until kick off. No reason to think it won't be this time.

Looking forward  to a good day out.

I hope the usual 16 year old drainpipe troosered ice gem hairdoed UJ tea towel waving brigade give it a swerve though

You're right there. had a meal in the tattie neuk before the friendly last season. Time Warp, thought he food was fine

I also remember going there for a 'holiday' with my mum and brothers at the caravan park in the 60s (we were skint). My 'highlight' was a swim in the 'heated' outdoor swimming pool. The seagulls were laughing as we dived in and I soon realised why -  was blue when i came out. About 30 degrees below freezing.

One of the coldest grounds I have ever attended. When the Northerly wind blows in its like the bloody Arctic  and I know I've been in the Arctic. Still going though and looking forward to it.

Long shot but any buses running up? Really up for going but the trains are too expensive to justify going to a friendly, and that's with a railcard!

I concur with Locky's view. In other words, the trains are just too expensive. Is anyone running a bus to this game?
