They really can’t help themselves being a laughing stock of Edinburgh can they!

https://www.edinburghlive.co.uk/sport/football/hibs-fans-can-names-clubs-16372165

Their laughing stock goes much wider than Edinburgh mate, they're the forever losers and this scheme just sums up how embaressing they are in trying to copy us - AGAIN

So basiscally they are going to have The Proclaimers sponsor their 3rd kit?

£225 donation to secure their name on the shirt? They can't even buy full priced adult season tickets to watch their team..... This is going to be funny!

Give it a few years and they’ll be telling us they were the first club in the world to have supporters names on their shirts!

We could have a JKB whip round get £225 and buy shares in the name of Sir Rudi Skacel or John Hammer of The Hibs Robertson

The HSL bickering on Hibs.nut is usually good fun.

Some realise that when FOH cash is directed towards playing staff (and other revenue invested more wisely than it has been) there is a strong possibility that Hibs will be left behind. They warn their fellow .nutters to step up before it's too late but many refuse to be ripped off (we call it supporting) and, instead, continue screwing their club by purchasing concession ST's they shouldn't.

"Drop offs" was a mantra of theirs In the early days of the Foundation. They were convinced they would be counted in their thousands if Hearts hit a rough patch.

Craig Levein has proved them wrong.

Didn't realise only 2400 signed up to HSL. Maybe they have more sense than we give them credit for.

I've been having a look for the Hib.net thread mocking our shirt with pledgers' names on it. It must have been made private or deleted. Risible filth. :D

They try to copy everything we do but just do it badly and smaller. Annoying youngest sibling of a club.

It would be nice if someone signed up as Rudi 5-1, just to get it on their shirt.

The frustration of those who back HSL is enjoyable. Their pleas to others just falls on deaf ears. "Hertz fans hud tae rally to save their club, we dinnae" is a favourite excuse.

Amazing that the mind set of two fan bases in the same city can be so far apart.

Coburg Hearts

Is it not the case that when they pay the required amount - £225? - they have no need to pay anymore, unless they want to? I'm sure i read on hibs.net a while ago that the majority take this route, so the club gets not another penny from said subscribers. Always in our shadow.

I know.

There's been plenty thin recently and there's been no drop off.

The last bit was just a light-hearted jab at Levein for providing the "thin".
