Fair enough, but the synchronised dancing on the touchline by the subs was out of order imo

I never saw that, just watched the highlights of the goals tbh. That does sound OTT though

Do the yanks know the meaning of the word humility? I very much doubt it.

Would have loved to have seen them try it had Neil Warnock been in the opposition technical area!

Wouldn't let him near a women's team like.

I find myself not even supporting the women's team these days because they have become such arrogant, entitled twats.

A far cry from the pioneers of the women's game back in the 90s and early aughts.

On the other hand they showed respect by showing the importance of the game to them. Didn't assume they were going to just turn up and win.

I don't see them as overly arrogant. They just really want to win.

It was the choreographed dancing on the touchline as the goals rained inm.

Hopefully a stronger opposition will kick a few into Row Z next game.

Perhaps some contributors should look at a few of the defeats suffered by Fort William FC in the past few years if they think this sort of result is unique to the women’s game....

Same thing happened in the East of Scotland league this season where the former Junior sides eg Lithgae Rose spanked the dead wood teams 10 or 12 zero on numerous occasions.

That's bollocks. The USA women's team were being what they are. Professional.

I don't know John I thought they went way over the top with the celebrations. Remember when we spanked the blue Brazil? There was nothing like those antics from Hearts players.

They will do that against whoever they score. After the final whistle see how the USA team consoled the Thai players particularly the goalie.

The night before when both teams get to train on the pitch. The Thai players asked for selfies with the USA team and the Americans happy obliged. The USA in women's football are the equivalent of the Brazilians in men's football. They are superstars.

Then perhaps they should show some humility.

They did. Once the game was over. Which was the proper thing to do.

In the words of the late Eddie Turnbull. Don't worry about as given the chance they would do the exact same to you.

After the game on 01/01/73. He wasn't wrong.

That's why it was annoying that we didn't put at least 8 past them in the 2012 final

Settle for any win before hand but 4-1 up with 40 minutes to go we should have really stuffed them

I totally agree. I wanted to win at least 9-1 as 8 is greater than 7.

Exactly right. Humility is to be shown before and after the final whistle. Whilst the game is going on play fair and to the rules but don't ever let off. Anything other than 100% is patronising to the opponent anyway.

Those of us that played football to a half decent standard fully understand this.

It's not bollocks, and I'm not referring to the scoreline.

France are going to win it

The comp? I've not seen too many decent teams but they are one of the better ones, home advantage might see them win it. Probably between them and the USA.

Fair enough, Notts.

I thought Norske were Norwegians and Noggies were Koreans.

Notts is right, Morg'. The Noggies I'm refering to are indeed those pickled-fish-eating weirdos who live half of the year in perpetual darkness and are a boorish pain in the arse with anything more than half a pint of shandy in them.

In common with Australian men, they really don't deserve their women.

Royksopp were quite good, though.

I've really enjoyed the tournament so far.  Seen a bit of most games and the quality has been really good.
