We may be shite, we may enjoy seeing top players but we’re not a country where football requires promoting like this. Liverpool is 4 hours down the road, FFS, so there’s no excuse for plastics not to go see them at their own ground in preseason. If their pitch isn’t ready they should play at Goodison or not at all.
