I hate to say it, but could he be a good signing for us? They'll be desperate to offload, he'll be desperate to find a new club, we could get him on the cheap. Good right-back cover for Smith, he can play in lots of positions, he's experienced and he's got a bit of fight.

Any more old players we could sign ?

McKenna & Cosgrove to Celtic, with Hendry to Aberdeen?

Rumour, don't know how true though.

I dont have a name as I generally dont give a shite about Celtic unless the rumours involve a Hearts player however have been told a 'marquee' signing will happen either today or tomorrow.

Not sure either of those come under the banner of marquee though!

Hearing the Left Back from Killie is pretty much done and dusted.

Alexis Sanchez will be loaned to Inter Milan until June 2020.

Inter will pay £5m of his £12m wages.

He’ll arrive in Milan tomorrow.

Sanchez is on much much more than that fella.

Double it and even that's a bit short.

Oliver Burke on loan to Deportivo Alaves.

He does like a foreign move. Seriously though good to see a Scottish player in La liga (though Jack Harper was going to be playing in La Liga after signing for Getafe but has been loaned to Alcorcon in the Segunda division.) He could do well there if he can get the form he showed under Rogers (which Lennon then destroyed.)

Quality player and very underrated

Yes it would be great if he did well in La Liga

Oliver Burke's time in Germany was illuminating. His coach described him as having an 'empty hard-drive' which I read as having no game intelligence and an inability to learn. What Brendan Rodgers did masterfully was take all the tactical elements out of his mind, playing him through the middle and just getting him to run in behind. Alex McLeish's decision to play him wide against Kazakhstan when he has zero tactical discipline was the worst decision he made, in a long list of them.

Thats quite harsh for the lad. Like it sounds like he's pretty much been called stupid, unable to grasp tactics or any sort of game intelligence.

To genuinely be called stupid/lacking not in anger is pretty brutal. Funny, but brutal.

Harsh but, any time I've watched him play, obviously true

Late call yes, possibly Broadfoot hooks up with Gus McPherson again or take bigger wages at Tannadice?

If 'panic buy' had a dictionary definition Ryan Kent's face would appear next to it right now. Maybe they knew it was coming and were thinking a big derby win followed by announcing Kent would look brilliant, but now it just looks like they've frantically thrown money in his general direction.

They never learnt their lesson did they?

-£15M last year and this year will be far more.

Remember £7M is nothing to Gerrard, and £20K a week will be the same.

He will be seeing this as low-end spending.

Maybe it's just me but I seriously don't get the hype over Ryan Kent. £7m is a lot for someone who had worse stats than Olly Lee!

6 assists last year and according to a Hun mate only turned up v. Celtic.
