Or is Mendy just the senegalese version of Smith? BTW I saw Mendy when over in Kaunas v Vetra and would be very surprised if he could make the grade here. Was only one game though and Screpis was so bad he got hooked. No idea if their related but I have seen about 20 Mendy's so probably Senegal's Smith well then you have seen about the same I have when I watched Kaunas a few times. I hope that's a joke...we all know that whatever responsibilities Frail has, they don't extend to transfers and contracts. This has absolutely nothing to do with Frail. He's got quite enough on his plate anyway.... After the Beslija story, I'm more than happy to sit and wait this one out before I start getting upset at another perceived gaffe from the club. Why not have done this with Screpsis? Keep the papers of our backs? At least prvent another embarrassing bit of laundry being aired in public? Whether it has substance or not actually has very little to do with the matter. ...because mud sticks, and right now HMFC as drowning under the mud that VR has allowed and in some cases courted to being thrown at the club. The Screpsis issue could have been dealt with. It could have not been allowed to get to this level. But it has. So it shows another startling misguided ineptitude by VR, or a deliberate shocking willful disregard for both a player and the clubs repurtation. Either way, the end result is not good. I would prefer to wait until i know the answer to these before i make too much judgement, although even a gentleman's agreement should be honoured. If its being dealt with, then fine, but the scaremongering that surrounds it is still damaging. If its not, then the scaremongering is valid, and the damage is the same. There may well be more to this story than the evening hibs is telling us. Does anyone know what Hearts position on Screpis's alleged contract is? Lets not let truth get in the way of a good kickback moaning session.
