Common sense would tell you that it would have been better to have a guy in ASAP to start bringing in players etc.....anyway that’s all hypothetical as it’s nothing to do with the coaching set up. It's all just speculation on here until something is announced or CL is in the dugout at the start of the season. That said it could quite easily be the case that CL was looking forward to this season as he was planning to only be doing 2 of the 3 jobs he has at the club but only if he/AB could attract the right person to replace CL as manager.
