We'll sit on it and sit on it,he'll get an offer and we'll be left to sign somebody that nobody else wants again ie Bozanic.

Didn't he have a 'good' tournament the last time? Where were his offers then? If a decent club ever wanted him he'd be away, clearly nobody is interested, his numbers from centre midfield are shite.

Can’t argue with that ?

To some on here if you question Djoum you don’t understand football. Why has no one ever come into buy this midfield maestro?

I am pretty sure we will be speaking to replacement, whether it looks like he will sign or not. I don't think it's a case of 'Oh shit, Djoum has rejected the contract. Quick start looking for a replacement'.

When do the nations cup finish? If he does come back to us he’ll probably be knackered and not kick a ball for us until November.

Is this like when Toulouse were interested? I'm sure if panathinaikos want him they'll offer him a contract and that'll be that.

Out of interest, do you think he is a good player, and did you make your mind up as soon as you saw him?

They finished 8th in the Greek league last year.

44 points behind the winners.

They had 9 points deducted last year due to not paying players wages.

I don’t see Bryson and Djoum being similar players.

Is that just me?

IMO Bryson is better and different and we should be pursuing him no matter what Djoum does.

He has been a very good player. 33 not long into next season and pretty injury-prone these days though. Not sure we can afford many more of them.

Djoum plays on the 25th & 29th of June. So he's got to get permission from Cameroon to leave training camp on the eve of the tournament, fly back from Egypt to Aberdeen, "talk" to them, then fly back? Considering it's all but the 21st of June now...?

Ehhh, naw. Maybe after it.

Which might be mid-July.

Fair point.

Guess the suggestions are b0llocks then ?

I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if Djoum jumps ship to you guys but he’ll not be on your trip to Ireland cause he’s at the AFCON.

I didn’t realise that he was away with Cameroon.

id expect him to keep his options open hoping for a good tournament.

No, not at all.

He’s been linked for a while and I thought a potential deal was dead when he was then linked with Apolloni Limassol.

There was suggestions that he would join before our trip, but as pointed out above, highly unlikely given he’s At AFCON

Any Hearts player considering jumping ship to go and ply their trade in Bedrock On Sea next season would be gone by now, if it was up to me. What an idiot, if true. ?

The deal would be off the table for me now anyway....it should be a privilege to play for our great club and he’s using us to get a better deal elsewhere, it’s always been his intentions....see you Arnaud, watch the door dosent whack you on the way out ??

I never said it was a source or any ITK.

It was just a suggestion I had read on another forum.

But as you sarcastically imply, they were not well informed as was I as I did not have that close a knowledge on what Djoum was currently doing.

We'd just have to cope if that's the case

Still a few more to come in I believe.

Strange club Aberdeen, whole city to support them but pretty shan support, persinally think McCinnes will be away this year, most problaby sacked.

They definitely took advantage of the financial mismanagement of us and The Rangers though.

He might get fed up with having to defend his croft against hungry Dire Wolves, and spear-totting men in animal skins with cartoon accents.

I always find this topic quite funny really.

As a nation, doesn't Scotland have a higher attendance per head of population than most other countries.

Yes, Hearts have a slightly higher attendance figures and yes, we have been poorly supported throughout our ages.

Edinburgh have what 4 times the size of Aberdeen,.

At the end of the day, its results on the pitch that makes a difference, not numbers in te stands and whilst Aberdeen's support is fewer, our turnover has been larger

**NOTE** Not looking for a debate or argument on support, just making a few points

You certainly made him a big offer couple of months ago. Wife doesn’t like Aberdeen though. Wouldn’t surprise me if he ends up with you. Last decent contract and three years at £6k per week is a lot more than we will give him. Tbh he isn’t worth that.

Aberdeen seem to go for it now and again, when I was younger it was Craig Hignett,The Bulgarian dude and I'm sure they paid £1 million for a guy once. The whole problem with Aberdeen is the expectation that Sir Alex delivered to that club.It cannot and will not ever be seen again for a lifetime.
