Assuming we get a third of the gate plus something from TV hospitality etc sounds about right

Motherwell turnover went up by £2.7m year on year via two cup finals. As a simple sum you could easily suggest that our Scottish Cup run could be worth in the region of £1.35m.

Hopefully this will be reinvested to help see us back at Hampden as quickly and frequently as possible.

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate mishap. (Had to look pmsl up).

I was referring to final alone. Great news if it was twice the OP's estimate.

As usual Blue Eyes, fiction is your mana, look that up as well.

You're a convicted slaver hanging on the coat tails of plenty other slavering bafoons.

Crack on though, its decent comedy.

Once you factor in the games that've been live on tv & the league cup run,The revenue stream will probably be one of the few highlights of the season.

The money will hopefully get reinvested into the completion of the new stand and get us ready for the majority of the new season.

The prize money was rubbish a couple of years back, £140,000 for the winners iirc but the overall rewards are much greater.  I'm hoping it will be around that £1,5m mark.  Pretty sure that's not budgeted and we dont have a new pitch to pay for so we should looking pretty good.

Yup. Most, if not all clubs budget for a first (fourth) round exit. Hearts certainly budget for just one game in the SC or the sections in the LC.

Dodger having a shitemare here, and being unnecessarily disrespectful to another poster for no real reason. What's a convicted slaver and who polices and judges on speech to make such a conviction anyway?

From the express:

However, in 2017 the Daily Record reported that the winners of the Scottish Cup took home £60,000, with the runners-up earning £30,000.

Their full prize money breakdown is listed below.

Clubs playing in first Preliminary Round (10 clubs) - £2,000

Clubs playing in second Preliminary Round (12 clubs) - £2,000

Clubs playing in Round One (36 clubs) - £2,000

Clubs playing in Round Two (32 clubs) - £4,000

Clubs playing in Round Three (32 clubs) - £6,000

Clubs playing in Round Four (32 clubs) - £9,000

Clubs playing in Round Five (16 clubs) - £12,000

Clubs Playing in Round Six (8 clubs) - £15,000

Semi-Finalist Clubs (4 clubs) - £18,000

Loser of the Final will receive - £30,000

Winner of the Final will receive - £60,000

Total prize fund: £1,198,000

The money's pish. We haven't had any big ties in the run-up. So it's quite difficult to put a figure on it. I reckon with tickets, merch and TV included we would've made about £1.5million all in all. Add on the LC run I reckon we've made £2.5million in total cup revenues this season.

Prize money even less than I remembered.  Overall revenue pretty good by scottish standards.  Should enable us to offer enticing contracts to those who deserve them and possibly transfer fees of modest proportions.

How much roughly do we get for being in the final?

500k ish?

SFA take the first 43% to share out amongst the clubs don't think we make that much you really need to win it to get the benefits of the spin offs
