We have had Saville, catholic care homes;state school homes , racist grooming gangs where authorities including the police have colluded. Yet here we are. John Findlay Posted May 21, 2019 Share Posted May 21, 2019 I was in care from Feb 75-Oct 75, Canaan Lodge on Canada Lane. Was 11/12 years old. I never witnessed any sexual abuse at all. Suffered a little physical abuse as in getting knuckled on the top of the head for misbehaving a couple of times. Hand on heart my 8 month experience was overall a good experience.
