Added in 1896 in case Bob S was on duty,  or maybe celebrating his retirement.

1986 for me.

I am 48 this year and have only been to five Scottish Cup finals.

The people moaning about the team who have made it to this seasons final might want to think about before slagging off a team to actually got there. I have seen plenty who didn't get there.

Started watching football as a 9 year old in 2004. Wasn't able to go in 06. Made sure I wasn't missing 2012

Not as many as I thought for '96, given it was 10 years since the last. But yeah, that was mine.

I remember walking home and my mum n dad went for a pint, I walked home and went out to play football. One of my Hun mates asked me to roll the ball to him and did an impression of Rousset.

I've been to 3 finals not involving Hearts.  To this day I can't imagine why.  Aberdeen v Celtic, Aberdeen win. R v C  0-0 draw.  Celtic v hibs  6-1 win.  On reflection  that may have bern the LC.

Fainted early on and only heard the score in hospital.

1968 my only Hearts one.

I had a ticket for 98 but gave it my brother as I had a girlfriend over from abroad and she was leaving on the Sunday so didn't feel I could leave her all day to go to the cup final.

A bit gutted but was worth it (was it feck)  as 21 years later we're still together and I'm taking our 9 year old to his first cup final. Can't fekking wait.

My parents got married in '68. The final Was The only game my dad took my mum to. I'm convinced he thought it was her fault we got beat.

I attended the 1975 cup final with my Tim supporting brother. I was supporting Airdrie obviously. I met Tommy Gemmell (who I think was at Dundee by this time)  at a petrol station on the way home and he autographed my Airdrie rosette - which was being worn to annoy my brother. The next year I saw Hearts in a cup final for the first time. Neither finals were great occasions.

86 for me, has to be the only time the losing teams fans were still singing when the winners lifted the cup.

Had a dream before that final (in colour) that we won 3-1. In the morning I could remember the scorers and the times of the goals. I dreamt JC scored the 3rd in a 3-1 win. Reality was of course he scored 1.when we were 3-0 down.

Man in the high castle stuff or what.

I accidentally voted 1998 but was actually 2006. I was at the 98 semi at Ibrox but I was only around 6/7 year old at the time.

Exactly the same for me.

Those two weeks and the next decade of being bridesmaids convinced me it was never gonna happen but I had that feeling in 98 and it made it all worthwhile.  Walked on air the whole summer.

Fair play to your dad mate. My granddad was a big Hibs man but always wanted Hearts to do well too and especially in cup finals 'hope your team wins today son'he said to me on cup final day in '98.  I know he meant it.

Team bus would probably be set on fire nowadays

You're lucky Jonno.  Wish I could forget it.  We were lacklustre from the first whistle.

Really disappointing but the victories make up for all that.

'86, as you know BB.  '96 was one of the worst days supporting Hearts, for me anyway.  Next visit to Hampden however, was the 2012 final.  :sweeet:
