That’s what 100’s of million’s of sky money gets you. The ability for the English and sky to polish a turd is incredible. Mikey1874
People might look at Leeds and fair enough. But other clubs way under performed. Tony Pulis has left Middlesbrough one of the big favourites for promotion who didn't even get into Play Offs.

That's a classic example of a club tolerating a style of football as long as it gets results because, once the results tail off you simply do not have a leg to stand on. Yes And look at Derby for example. All out attack won them that game. Norwich, Sheffield United, Leeds - all very attack minded sides and with squads way less expensive than Middlesbrough's. They hung in there but just didn't look like a team who would win in the automatic places or in a play off. Not sure what the odds were in that league at the start of the season but Sunderland finishing 5th and losing in the play offs is a genuine failure for them at that level. Sunderland's player values are more than double that of any other team in that league https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/league-one/startseite/wettbewerb/GB3

When I see his teams I see a lot of players who don't convince as the guys to get it over the line in that league. His new players squad is similar to what Robbie Neilson did at MK Dons. But to be fair it is tough. So Jack Ross can learn and get some other guys in.

Mikey1874
Derby are an interesting side. They are pretty ordinary but when they get their attacking play going full on they can give anyone a game.
