3 years you have been trying to get rid of Levein and have failed miserably.  How utterly desperate you sound.

I doubt that that the club give a flying **** about three or four desparately sad losers on a football forum are trying to do.

Looking at the amount of blue seats that are lying empty is worrying i’d of hoped

we’d of sold more by now. The club needs to give the fans a lift and hope that

this coming season is going to be much better than the last. What will that take

I think many JKBers will know what is needed.

Yep I think you can coin that trio as doom, gloom and despondency. I am sure someone will come up with a good caricature.

Brilliant numbers reported. Hopefully break the 13,000 barrier soon. Hating the close season already.

FTH

If we break the 13K barrier that would be an incredible achievement. I'm still astonished and delighted at the demand after the renewal deadline.

Three STs bought courtesy of neonjambo. They’ll be delivered to Balgreen PS next week and 2 U13 kids and an adult will be at Tynie for every league game

That’s worth a round of applause.

I think it’s the larger capacity and new stand playing it’s part.

There isn’t the need for the rush of previous years in a 20k capacity. The old stand wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea and you needed to be quick of the mark in securing your favoured area of the ground.

People aware now aware good seats are still available and will be until the seasons start.

Our hardcore support remains the same. They just have far better options in terms of time and availability.

Noticed on Hambone that Hickey was wearing number 51.  Surely that alone should guarantee 15,000 sales.

Is section X available to fans?? Sat in x for years and loved ours seats until last year we were advised they wanted to take over the section for hospitality so we moved to P but didn’t like it much especially proximity to away fans. changed back to Y this year. I presumed all of X was hospitality now or has this changed again certainly never looked that busy last year for a lot of games

Very good sales given the season we've just had. Surprisingly good.

We have a fantastic support. It's been dreary of late but I'm already excited for what's to come next season. If you're swaying about renewing or perhaps buying a ST for the first time, and can afford to.. just get it done. Mon' the hearts!

2 more renewed yesterday. Wanted to move seats but couldn't be bothered buying and then having to go through the moving process so just bought the new seats online yesterday. Don't know how much of a message it sent to Ann about the delay in buying but fingers crossed for a more successful league campaign next time round

It used to be said that our hardcore fan base even when things were shit was 6,000-7,000.

I think that was true as recently as around 13-15 years ago.

Can we now saying that that hardcore fan base is now consolidating around c. 11,000?

Absolute Scenes

well done everyone, that's actually really impressive. Maybe goes to show as well that there have been a lot of threads about hearts and management and positions and football - but supporting hearts doesn't mean we have to support every decision, every signing, every player, every result - the fans make the team not the players. Well done all, looking forward to another season of football

I’d agree with that I think. I remember sitting there with a black balloon protesting about the proposed sale of Tynecastle, and there didn’t seem to be much of a crowd. Fast forward a few years and we were selling out Tynecastle to keep the lights on when in administration.

Can't actually remember the opponents. It was a less than optimistic and defiant crowd though. Bad, bad times. Contrast that to the bullish determination and the way we rallied in the administration period. The game v St Mirren where we needed to sell out.

Sure there was a save our hearts march from Saughton park before the black balloon game.

It was a very grim period. I actually felt lower during those days than I did at any point during administration. Don’t know if that’s a personal thing, a bit younger then etc, but I can vividly remember the feeling of hopelessness as losing Tynecastle Park was a stark reality.

Horrible, dark days.

Not sure what constitutes hardcore, but we never got less than 10k for a league match 15 years ago. In 2003-4, our lowest crowd was our first game in the cup (v Berwick), 8,500.

I'd say you have to go back to pre 85-86 days to go as low as 6k-7k die-hards.

Equally, I'd say 11,000 is conservative for the current figure.
