Cup Final pubs in Toronto?

Recommended Posts

windsor1874

Hi,

A long shot I know, but half a dozen of us going across for our mates wedding on the 25th (what's the chances)

So anyway 6 of us looking for anyone out there already who can maybe give us a heads up for places that will be open that early? Kickoffs 10am their time so it will have to be some sports bar that does a breakfast I'm guessing. Plenty Rangers and Celtic Supporters clubs it appears but obviously would rather not.

Any guidance would be great!

Cheers

There is a North American Hearts Supporters Club.

They used to watch games in the Niblick in Oakville.

@niblick1874 @Maple Leafmay be able to help you.

Check this place out, even if not just for the final. Really cool place - staff were super friendly and they have an abundance of TVs that show football. Sure they would stick it on a telly for you.  They should just about be open for KO I think with the time difference.

if not I am sure there are a couple of Scottish bars the Caledonian being one that might have it on and does nice whiskeys to celebrate when we win ?

Guess The Crowd

The Real Sports Bar In York St (very central) is good. Huge place, loads of TVs so they’ll be happy to switch one to Scottish/UK football on request if necessary.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

I have emailed Caledonian, Real Sports and Amsterdam. Duke of Gloucester didn't have a website.

Thanks again and likewise any other comments would be great!

Absolutely brilliant city. Make sure you take a trip to the Islands and take the tram along to the Beaches (some decent boozers and really good restaurant called Green Eggplant). Have a good time mate!

Depends on where you are as it's a big city - but Hemingway's is a superb pub/restaurant and show a variety of sports on their TV's.  It's got a great rooftop bar.  One of my favourite places when over in Toronto.

Amsterdam Brewhouse was a cool place right on the water but served raw chicken the last time I was in there and they couldn't have cared less!

Scattered to be sure, but all still die-hard Jambos.  Take care. :thumb:
