You can get them out of Tesco without the wait.

Aye but you won't get any facebook likes by doing that. Gotta get those selfies at the new place.

Mind when that one opened at Hermiston Gait? The same ***** brought the bypass and a chunk of the M8 to a grinding halt (aye... I know) just to get a doughnut.

****ing imbecilic gimp *****.

Was strange enough behaviour when the one at Hermiston Gait opened. Another one in the same city?! When the doughnuts are widely available in multiple places across that city?!!!?!?!?! Mental.

Doughnuts to the right?

:)  It puts life into perspective though, doesn't it, that in some areas in the world folk are queuing up for rice and clean water, whereas here we are queuing for doughnuts and iPhones.

A quick look at the Urban Dictionary definitions of "doughnut" leaves me not knowing whether to be jealous or not.

Dafties at my work from Livingston  used to bring in  boxes of them. They were very mediocre doughnuts

Please tell me this isn’t happening again. I’m not long over my rage since Hermiston Gait.

The world’s on its arse. Complete and utter gimps.

Krispy Kreme's are shit.  Dunkin Donuts pisses all over them.

Do we have Dunkin donuts here?

When I was in New York the woman in Dunkin donuts that served me wanted the boaby and gave me a couple free doughnuts of my choice. That alone made it better than Krispy Kreme.

It's not even a new shop. I was at the Fort last week and had a look around to see where the new shop was. Couldn't see it.

Seen a picture today and this new store is actually just a doughnut fan parked up beside Odeon and the other food places. I'd be amazed if they even make any doughnuts in it.

I picked a mate up from the airport just after it opened and got stuck on the roundabout then she decided she wanted to go when we went back past. Easily an hour wasted waiting and that was late in the evening. Mental. Now you can get them everywhere.

Why are folk queueing for 4hours though?

I had to laugh at the Evening News story, with the headline that people queued for 4 hours. As if that's a big deal. Only 20 people queued, and the 'store' is more of a kiosk. Pathetic.

There's areas in the UK, where folk are queuing up at food banks. These other areas in the world  have people queuing up for doughnuts too. Real perspective.

Have you *ever* travelled in Third World countries?

Seriously, ri, you come across as having a pretty narrow-minded Scottish-based view of the world. You ought to expand your thinking and horizons a little, like we internationalist Scots traditionally have done. Think as a human being, an inhabitant of Planet Earth, not just as a Scotsman.

Maybe you should take the post a face value, but red as usual harks back to other topics.

Oh and I wouldn't step foot in these countries because of Scottish/British/American/French call it what you want, internationalism.

It was an observation on your opinion, nothing else, please don't call the cops. Again!

Call the cops again? What are you talking about, Willis. :)

My mild irritation, apart from your seemingly limited point of view, is that you were downplaying the real poverty that exists in some areas of the world. A "let them eat doughnuts" sort of attitude.

I've never tasted these doughnuts. Any good? Horton's are rotten, I know that.

I’ve had them once, in Livingston a few months ago.

Honestly, they’re nothing to write home about.

Great for making you fat though.  (Hence the Livingston link ::troll::)
