hughesie27
It's not even a new shop. I was at the Fort last week and had a look around to see where the new shop was. Couldn't see it. Seen a picture today and this new store is actually just a doughnut fan parked up beside Odeon and the other food places. I'd be amazed if they even make any doughnuts in it. ¼½¾
I had to laugh at the Evening News story, with the headline that people queued for 4 hours. As if that's a big deal. Only 20 people queued, and the 'store' is more of a kiosk. Pathetic.

Seriously, ri, you come across as having a pretty narrow-minded Scottish-based view of the world. You ought to expand your thinking and horizons a little, like we internationalist Scots traditionally have done. Think as a human being, an inhabitant of Planet Earth, not just as a Scotsman. Oh and I wouldn't step foot in these countries because of Scottish/British/American/French call it what you want, internationalism. My mild irritation, apart from your seemingly limited point of view, is that you were downplaying the real poverty that exists in some areas of the world. A "let them eat doughnuts" sort of attitude.
