It's silly season with the press given the rather odd fact that the two clubs play each other in a meaningless match 6 days before the final. There is next to nothing worth writing about for this weekends match, no one cares! Therefore...speculation and sensationalism is the way to get clicks this week.

Depending on which 'source' you read Celtic have Brown, or Edouard, or Lustig, or Tierney, or Forrest and/or Hayes potentially missing the final.

My most memorable final was 1998, as it ended a long drought for me and many others of my generation as a fans. Do not really get the comparison with next week, as that 98 team was a quality team throughout. IMO. It is hypothetical though and does not matter in terms of next weekend, these players have the chance to make their own history and this Celtic team can be beaten. 2019 can be right up there with 1998 and 2012.

A mere 4 key players missing is no excuse.

It is, but the chances of all 4 being out is nil.

Naismiths chances are when the ball is played into him in the proximity of the box, allowing a goal scoring opportunity.

Absolute Scenes

Instagram shows both Haring and Uche nailing training, running, ball work - they both look fine

BBC have taken a passing comment from Levein in that they are maybe not fully fit at the moment, and have turned it into a panic headline - classic

If Uche, Haring and Djoum make it then the only positions we need to worry about is left back, whether we go with Shaughnessy/Dikamona and who takes the 3rd centre mid spot. The lack of a natural left back makes me think we’ll definitely go with a back 3.

For me i’d go with Dikamona, hes proven at Easter Road when the pressure is on in a big game that he can cope with it, whilst Shaughnessy would appear to look nervous on many occasions. Dikamona appears to have the right mentality for a game like this.

The centre mid spot is one of either Lee, Bozanic, Edwards or Cochrane... hard to choose between them. Favour Bozanic myself due to Cochranes lack of game time over the season.

If everyone makes it then i’d go with

                Zlamal

   Souttar Berra Dikamona

Smith                             Mulraney

      Djoum Haring Bozanic

                Clare

                 Uche

(if Naismith makes a miraculous recovery then him in for Bozanic with Clare further back to make a cup winning side )

He was asked a question. Something like could they all miss game.

Craig said they could.

Yes

But I'd go for Shaughnessy and Lee

And it's 442

Who's going to score the goals for us?

Just curious.

Like every other game in the world, all the team are allowed to score a goal.

Bookmakers give pretty decent odds if you can tell who will score before a ball has been kicked.

On the subject of scoring goals. Our set plays, been great most of the season.

Until we won our semi final, the last 4 games, absolute horse shit.

I reckon we are going to see a couple of crackers next Saturday.

On condition, we can get into their half of course

I see a major flaw in your plan for scoring from set plays.

In order to get a free kick or even a corner, the ref has to make a decision in our favour.

Baring in mind who we are playing and who the ref is, this scenario seems highly unlikely

Can see the news now.

Two golf carts, one with Berra, Souttar, Smith and Bobby  smashed Into another whole doing doughnuts with Djoum, Uche, Naismith and Haring

All 8 players out for 4 weeks.

Hardly unsubstantiated tho.

Naismith out just now

Haring out just now.

Uche being rested after going of injured recently and having missed 3 months previous.

Djoum has a history.

I'd expect only Naismith to miss out, but I wouldn't say it's unsubstantiated, especially as CL says they could be out as well.

Just imagine..

I actually wish the game was Tomorrow. Absolutely buzzing. Don't know why but there is a feeling we can do it. I endured the many 4/5 goal loses vs rangers in the 90s before we won in 98.....this can be the same as 98. Moan the jam tarts!

If we aren't down after 20 mins with our arse falling out we have a great chance.

In fact, if it's 0-0 after 30 I'd say the game is 50/50 as opposed to 80/20 or whatever it is the now in Celtics favour.

A Berra header on 80 minutes in a scrappy 1-0 win would be magnificent.
