When I voted it was up to 40.

Even their best Keepers are utter pony. Except McNeil of course, he is a classy one.

I particularly loved his piece of 'goalkeeping' to leave Andy Driver with an empty net, he also covered himself in glory in the wee cup celebrations derby.

So 12 hours in we're at a crucial point though a clear trend has emerged

1902 votes

Andy McNeil 40% - 761 votes

Ofir Marciano 32% - 609 votes

Conrad Logan 19% - 361 votes

Tomorrow we'll look at Andy's highlights leading up to the midday reveal of the winner, if the Evening News doesn't bottle it again.

Getting to the stage now that it's hard to tell who is taking the Mickey out of who. Hearts fans taking the proverbial out of the  EEN or the EEN taking the proverbial out of Hearts fans!!

Finding evidence of Andy McNeil playing for Hibs isn't easy.

But here he is. And go to 1.35 "It just keeps on happening".

Bottled it and gave it to Marciano

It now brings us to the poll. We didn’t learn our lessons from a previous poll run regarding Hibs’ best goalkeeper. Hearts fans - and supporters of other teams - spotted an opportunity with Malkowski winning.

Once again, the goalkeeper on the shortlist who you would expect to score lowly, scored the highest, the poll being shared on popular Hearts fans’ forum Jambos Kickback who gave McNeil a push.

Looking back Ben Williams should have been included instead.

So with that in mind, and not a slight against what McNeil produced for Hibs, we have taken the decision to award Ofir Marciano with first place. The Israeli - who was second with 30 per cent - has been the club’s most impressive performer in goals since 2000.

So that's how the shite measure success. Draft a public poll then fabricate the final outcome.

You can't make it up. Tossers.

The people’s popular choice shat on. Bit shan presuming that no Hibs supporters voted for Andy. The EEN basically calling the lad shite here. ☹️

If yesterday's poll is correct Andy McNeil is the best Hibs goalkeeper of the 21st century with 43 per cent of the vote at the time of writing.

Disgraceful that the EEN have chosen to ignore the 'will of the people'. This has completely destroyed my faith in British democracy.

Andy McNeil means Andy McNeil.
