Smith - 5 - never got forward\ no dangerous throws\ average defending Burns - 6 - did ok on the ball but not strong enough yet. Not commanding yet (will improve) - I like him. Souttar - 5 - poorest game for us? Slow. Distribution awful. Did not step up when we needed. On back foot. Berra - 5 - Did not lead (third goal is example). Good in air. Slow. On back foot. Not commanding. Not fit??? Djoum 5 - Was looking for top performance since I think is his best position. Didn't do anything horrendous but nothing great either. Wighton - 5 - Ridiculous to start him on the right - better in middle. Almost scored with header. Should have done better with shot in first half. Gave away ball which lead to Sevo goal - but where was defence?? Lee - 4 - Very poor. Didn't get involved. Was pushed out to right which didn't suit him but is so one-paced. Tackles?? Corners were poor. Bozanic - 4 - Have suggested he start more games - but bullied out of it today. No bite\ no real ability\ no goal threat\ hid after giving ball away for goal. Mulraney - 5 - no support. pulled back to LB almost. Not his fault we are so defensive. good cross for goal. Can he "go inside"? Uche - 6 - not enough support (what a shock!!!). Poor shot in first half when he had a chance. Tired (not surprisingly). Not a goal scorer who needs support. McLean - 5 - took goal well but is only worth 30 mins on park. Cochrane - 5 - looks taller but not stronger. Has not improved on this display - actually looks a poorer player but not had time. Dikamona -2 - Nightmare. I like him and prefer him to Shaughnessy but that was rubbish. We are behind and have Brandon who is a RB who can get forward - and we put on Dikamona. Craig - you avin a laff????? Levein - 0 - WOW!!! Hard to know where to start. Wont go into all of the HUGE errors but it is his job to install confidence \will to win\ tactics. There is no evidence of PLAN A (never mind Plan B). We go out with a "lets see what other team are going to do". If we went out with the same attitude that we did second half against ICT we actually might WIN! - but that has never been Levein's way..... Uche and Dikamona must be delighted to get their contract extensions despite the fact they spend most of the time falling on their erses. Jambomb Posted April 20, 2019 Share Posted April 20, 2019 Why on earth would anyone put Olly Lee at right midfield is a mystery to me, he can be decent in the middle but once moved to the right his lack of pace is so exposed! Surely what CL done in second half and put Djoum to the right was the obvious answer in the first half, or sub whighton rather than try to make it work! He’s hung other players out today for better performances than that from Whighton (Martin, Edwards, Vanachek, etc..l) and Olly B was horrendous today, should have been three subs at half time! Smith - 6 - Only defedner to get pass marks Burns - 5 - Decent in the air first half but nothing happening in front of him. Souttar - 5 - Poor distribution throughout Berra - 5 - Not Berra like at all Djoum 6 - Best of a dreadful midfield. Wighton - 4 - Heart of a mouse and plays with no urgency/tempo Lee - 4 - Very occasionally good with a dead ball. Slow and weak otherwise. Bozanic - 4 - Ran about a lot, which is more than some did. Mulraney - 6 - Some decent crosses and no takers. Uche - 6 - If he'd get his head up more we'd see a real player. Tries his baws off every games. Needs support MacLean - 5 - Nice goal but game was over before he came on. Cochrane - 5 - Tracked back well and needs more game time. Dikamona -3 - Beige performance. Very odd substitution. Levein - 3 Having nae luck with injuries/sickness however it is his job to motivate and direct these players. His job to compensate for injuries. His job to get the best out of the players at his disposal and he is failing at his job. This team takes forever to get going, if they get going at all and give other teams far too much respect. Anyone that would actually pay money for Wighton has no place in football imo. Wighton is so shite I keep expecting Jeremy Beadle to pop out and say 'gotcha!'. Bozanic has had a few decent games which, if you ever went, you would know. Burns has only played about 3 or 4 first team games none if which you will have witnessed first hand. As for Berra, apart from the odd live game which you have "no interest in" and "dont care" about or 5 minute highlights on Sportscene, how would you have any first hand knowledge of him or any other player you contunually pass judgement on?
