The average birth rare in the UK. 0.9 children per couple

 

The average muslim birth rate in the UK. 1.4 children per couple.

 

UK population - roughly 60m.

UK  muslim population - roughly 2.7m.

 

There are roughly 679,106 births a year in the UK.

There is roughly 533,253 deaths a year in the UK.

 

So a net increase of 145,853 a year.

 

Muslims make up 4.5% of the population, so out of that net increase, 6536.

 

Multiply that by 1.4, as per the birth rate, gives us 9150.

 

So out of 145,853 births every year, 9150 are muslim.

 

I can't be arsed to do the further maths, but looking at it, I'd say it may take a few thousands years or so before muslims start to 'outbreeed' non-muslims in the UK.

 

So naw, doubt yer grandbairns will be reciting the quran any time soon.

They are, and even if we accounted for migration in, your "thousands of years" figure would still be spot on.

To sum up, religion as a mainstream delusion will be dead before Muslims are a majority in the UK.
