It was a pitiful speech, full of nonsense and BS, played out before a lukewarm crowd of friends and family. I think he'll become the GOP candidate for 2024, which should make things easy for the Dems. The American electorate should be fully aware of Trump's failings by then, and he should lose to Biden, or whoever, by an even bigger margin than last time. Even his most fervent supporters and loved ones know he has no chance and should have quietly departed stage left to play golf and chill. Im sure they’ve tried to get him to listen to reason but there is no convincing a megalomaniac! There is little chance he will be the Republican nominee and DeSantis is very well positioned to take him on after his historical victory in Florida. He’s going to be a completely different challenge for the Dems and a lot of moderates can and will be swayed by him. Going to be a fun watch as Trump and DeSantis go at it.
