The "man" values power more than his health. That is, until this thing kicks in again and he shits his pants.

Anyhoo, on to the main revelation, let's all catch this elixir of youth now known as Covid and feel 20 sun orbits younger. :)

The reality from a recent article: Quote

“Trump never said that white supremacists were fine people, and he has repeatedly disavowed white supremacists (not that he should have to). The left’s claims about “racism” are all based upon “microaggressions.” These are what leftists find in the absence of actual racism. When it comes to microaggressions and open racism, the big winner is Joe Biden, whom the left protects.

Trump has not signed laws or passed regulations that discriminate against people based on race. What did happen under Trump is that minorities have done better under his administration than they have since these types of records started being kept 70 years or so ago.

Sexism: Trump has more women in his administration than Obama, Bush, or Clinton. Trump was the first major New York developer to give women management roles in large projects (although gratitude is not one woman’s strong point). Trump has not signed laws or passed regulations that discriminate against women.

Anti-Semitism: In Israel, they adore Trump because he is bringing peace to the region – and he did so by sidelining the Palestinians. When he finally moved the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem and acknowledged Israel’s right to the Golan Heights, he revealed to the Arab world that the Palestinians are yesterday’s news and also showed unprecedented respect for Israel’s sovereignty and security. His beloved daughter is Jewish, as are three of his grandchildren. If all anti-Semites were like Trump, Jews would never be endangered again.

Islamophobia: Trump took the list the Obama administration had prepared showing terrorist countries (almost all of which happened to be Muslim) and said that they couldn’t send people here until proper security measures were in place. He destroyed ISIS, which was Islamic. And of course, he’s bringing peace to the Middle East, which benefits the region’s Muslims.

Trump has not signed laws or passed regulations that discriminate against Muslims.

Homophobia: Two words: Ric Grenell. He’s openly gay, he’s one of the most influential people in the administration, and he and Trump are doing something no Democrat ever did: Trying to protect gay people around the world. Gays who have lived without the benefit of America’s protections love him for it.

Transphobia: Trump did not want transgender people in the military. Wanting to ensure that people with severe body dysmorphia do not serve is smart, not transphobic.

Conspiracy Theories: It’s not a theory. We now know with absolute certainty that the Obama administration conspired with the CIA, the DOJ, and the FBI to spy on Trump before and after the election.

Fundamentally Corrupt: Trump has had the equivalent of a daily colonoscopy since entering the White House. No president has ever been so clean.”

Wow just wow 😳 and some of these nutjobs go to Tynecastle and possibly sit alongside me 🤷‍♂️

Trump Didn’t Disclose First Positive Covid-19 Test While Awaiting a Second Test on Thursday

Mr. Trump and his top advisers also aimed to keep such a close hold on the early positive results that his campaign manager, Bill Stepien, didn’t know that Hope Hicks, one of the president’s closest White House aides, had tested positive on Thursday morning until news reports later that evening, according to a person familiar with the matter. The Trump campaign said Friday evening that Mr. Stepien had tested positive.

. . .

Mr. Stepien and the rest of the Trump campaign first learned of Ms. Hicks’s positive test from Bloomberg News, and weren’t consulted on whether to proceed with a Thursday trip to New Jersey, a campaign official said.

The White House has said the operations team deemed the trip safe. The president had tested negative on a rapid test that morning, according to a person familiar with the matter. Mr. Meadows has said the White House learned of Ms. Hicks’s results right as Marine One was leaving for New Jersey, and said the administration pulled some advisers off the trip. The president left the White House just after 1 p.m. that day.

The steroid Trump has been given is apparently only given to someone with a severe case of Coronavirus and the effects are merely a short term booster.

If he's really got it, he'll be absolutely ****ed in the next week or two. He's auld, fat, probably has diabetes or other underlying health issues. There's no danger he'll be able to recover from this soon.... Unless they have a cure.

If it were anybody else voicing such incredible stupidity we would be stunned. But with him it was actually expected. In fact I think I may even have predicted it in a post as soon as it was reported he was positive.

I just can't grasp the mentality of anybody who would support this dimwitted creature.

John Oliver raises some interesting points and some disturbing ones too. Also has a description of the real story behind Trumps rambling about ballots being found in creeks.

Watched him arriving at the White House, nicely tanned, gets in no mask no self distancing ,staff seem to have masks, but  still person close. He stands outside on a porch and holds an extended time salute to the helicopter departing. His former press secretary says this man is a fighter he takes the blows and fights back, he is strong. Quite a description for  man who when his country called wimped out. He is just the worst example of a human being you could find. Self idolisation copied for him in comments by his acolytes whom he will dispose of as soon as he no longer needs them ,. Making out he has conquered the Virus, which to me is saying to all the souls who have perished you didn't fight hard like me. The fact that he has received medical attention that is not available to many if any, and despite this refuses to convalesce properly instead is about and probably spreading the virus all over. He is just not really the type of person I respect, admire or god forbid vote for.

He did not have a deferment he used a medical diagnosis of bone spurs to have himself declared medically unfit for military service . I am not a big fan of Bill Clinton for numerous reasons he was known as a draft dodger, but he was against the war in principle  I could accept that. When the war was at its height I was working on patrol on the Vancouver waterfront. There were not many night shifts when we did not encounter and detain young American draft dodgers trying to get on ships to get out of North America. They were adamantly against the war, and were adamantly against being one of the many many body bags being brought back from Nam. Being a former soldier and having served on active service, although nothing even closely similar to the holocaust that was Vietnam I had no compunction about arresting them for having as they had stated entering Canada illegally to avoid any possible contact with U.S. government officials. Our policy was to escort them to the border where they were handed over to U.S.officials. Some of them in fact most were really nice kids, I quite liked them, but they as Trump were refusing to answer their countries call, while many others just like them were and paid the ultimate price for doing so. When you fail and avoid service by illegal means and do so to avoid injury or death in battle, and allow others to do it for you, then certainly in those days, to me you fell into the category of coward. In fairness some of the young men put up good arguments about the illegality of the war, and the question of should the United States even be in it. An interesting point but over fifty years ago an old soldier was  not prepared to listen to.

I have to say you are quite correct I don't like Donald Trump in fact I don't like anything about him. I think he is a disgrace to his office, is an incompetent leader, and at this particular time an utter despot using his position and privileges to get the best of medical care, and medications and still will not follow the basic isolation, quarantine, and preventive policies for the safety of others.

I appreciate I have a different engendered by personal experience, view on what is cowardice, just as I did and received much criticism for branding a police officer who hid while children were being murdered  a coward , and who subsequently was charged with that very crime. I have believed and I was raised so that duty ,service, and willingness to face danger when required were things of value, and should be practised.

Had he not used all his college related deferments, and when he had none left he then went the medical route. I know its splitting hairs but he did not miss in the final play by a deferment he was considered unsuitable for military service because of bone spurs. I have no problem with deferment by its meaning it is a temporary release until a present activity is concluded such as in many cases conclusion of college and university courses .

You defending this excuse? WTF is wrong with you?

It isn't just about Vietnam, it's everything about the bassa. HTF can you support someone so blatantly lacking in anything worthwhile?

I realise Kraft and he are "buddies" but that doesn't mean you have to join in. :(

What is there to possibly admire about this charlatan?

Watching the ridiculous footage of him taking his mask off and saluting, you can clearly see his struggling to breathe and supress a few coughs.

For all his pish about Biden taking performance enhancing drugs, he's clearly been jacked up to the tits so he can play the hard man who made a "miracle recovery" after only three days.

Total pish. He'll crash hard over the next couple of weeks.

He's currently the only, overweight, 70 plus male with probable underlying health conditions, on the planet, that's recovered from COVID-19 in less than a week.

So yep, he is either talking shite as per as some sort of Election strategy. These drugs have merely delayed the symptoms or, they have a cure that is only available to the likes of Donald. 🤷

If he's got it, it wouldn't surprise me if he was pan breed by next week.

Even the White House staff and doctors can't agree on the timeline of his illness.

He's either had it for far longer than they admit, or he's putting it all on, or he's just got it and is trying to pretend he's recovered in a weekend.

With this bonkers, inept, gaslighting, bullshitting administration there's simply no way of knowing.

I’ve said it before and will reiterate. In my opinion, the similarities of Trump to the mantra of the leaders of Nazi Germany become more apparent by the week.

The Nazis propaganda about the pure race and perfect health, whilst frowning upon any form of perceived physical weakness in others. How the supreme leader was too strong for any ailments to invade his body.

My mother was brought up in Germany during the Nazi power grab. The propaganda must have been relentless. To her dying day, she would always say that nobody in her family had had anything wrong with them health wise. It seemed to be something that had been drummed into them all. Any time a doctor asks me if anything runs in the family, I haven’t got a clue.

Trump now implying that he’s stronger than all the poor souls who have either died or suffered life changing damage to their health, just so he can portray himself as the supreme leader. He’s trying to emulate his North Korean pen pal.

Between day 7 to 10 is usually when you are likely to develop severe symptoms, so the doctors say.

Trump is on day 5 or 6, little wonder his doctors keep saying if he gets to Monday with no further issues then they'll relax.

All this bravado from this chump could still result in a monumental epic fail in the next few days.

The Donald's physician now claims he has NO Covid-19 symptoms and oxygen saturation levels of 95-97%.

That's amazing. 72 hours after a positive test he's got the oxygen saturation levels of Mo Farah rather than a morbidly obese 74 year old.
