JFK-1
Never watched Trump live before but doing so right now. All I have ever watched of him were clips. It's difficult. Meandering as usual. There is no clear line of thought aside from the press are the enemy. Everything is the greatest ever. Nobody in the world has been dealing with the pandemic better than him. Greatest economy and jobs numbers in "the history of the world" The soldier bashing is all lies. Must have said China scores of times. China virus, China plague, China is robbing us. JFK-1
There's going to be a vaccine maybe in October. If it were Obama you wouldn't have a vaccine for 3 years. It was predicted he would say a vaccine will be here soon. But now I need to amend that. Soon after that claim a reporter asked about having a vaccine before the election to which he responded with I didn't say that. 🤣

I happened to watch Trump live at the news conference when he talked about shining light into people's bodies and injecting disinfectant. It was honestly one of the most entertaining pieces of media I have ever watched. Just a chain of "Did Trump actually just fecking say that?!"'s after another. JFK-1
Notice the twisting of facts here. He's accusing Biden and Harris of being anti vaxers and undermining science. Both things he is actually guilty of. Quote At least a decade before Trump was elected president, with responsibilities that would include nominating experts to lead the nation’s health centers, the hotelier and commercial developer was holding forth with great confidence about medical topics. When an interviewer would note that physicians disagreed with the dim view he took of vaccines, Mr. Trump remained ever ebullient, impervious and dismissive of scientific authority. FULL ARTICLE While what Biden and Harris said is they don't trust anything Trump spews about a safe vaccine being just weeks away. They don't mistrust vaccines as he is trying to paint it. They mistrust him. And frankly who doesn't?

His loyal support will make BLM look like a peaceful gathering of like minded people. The man is corrupt and it seems so are some of the people around him, his recently appointed Post Master General, is under investigation for election contributions donations. It seems that in the last election he had reached the maximum that one can donate. He got over this by having employees make donations in their name. He then gave them a bonus that equalled the exact amount they had donated, so it cost them nothing. This is an offence. The worst people are the enablers. I am a bit disappointed in General Kelly ,Trumps former chief of staff, he apparently was in the group when Trump made his comments about the dead in a French cemetery that he did not want to visit because his hair may get messed up. Kelly a strong soldier and apparently honorable man has said nothing about Trumps disgusting if true Suckers and Losers comments. This is not going to end in a peaceful election night broadcasts about the results and projected winner with polite congratulations from winner to loser this is going to be carnage. On a slightly different subject I watched Hannity for a bit with Levin. Hannity had a Trump like make up job on his face, same color as Trumps, I suppose to show his outdoorsman tan. Just like his phoney tan leader the backs of his hands were pure white. For many years golfing in Osoyoos in 90 to 100 degree hot sunny temperatures I had a natural really dark tan on my face, hands and legs, Basically wherever I went these other limbs were right in the sun just like my face, nothing that was exposed to the sun was white. Thank feck for the NHS, I dread to think what we would do without it, I know I couldn't afford the costs in the US. I had my wife in a hospice for nearly three weeks, it was considered an extra and cost me all of $360.00. In the last two weeks she was basically on medication, I believe Morphine ,which was paid for by our Health System. Prior to her hospital stay she was on medication which was free but the Pharmacist told me each prescription was worth $700. I just can't believe after the stress I went through how bad it would have been if like the States the full costs had been applied. God Bless Canada, you made a difficult time manageable. I would be remiss if I didn't also mention the fine people of JKB in that appreciation.

It comes out of general taxation, which is the same in Canada and different from the USA. There is a very strong lobby in America to keep things they way they are, as insurance companies make enormous profits.

Post-deployment, the percentage of violent demonstrations has risen from under 17% to over 42%, suggesting that the federal response has only aggravated unrest.” Leaked Documents Show Police Knew Far-Right Extremists Were the Real Threat at Protests, Not “Antifa” The cache of law enforcement materials was recently hacked and posted online under the title “BlueLeaks,” providing an unprecedented look at the communications between state, local, and federal law enforcement in the face of the nationwide protests. In an analysis of nearly 300 documents that reference “antifa,” The Intercept found repeated instances of antifa and left-wing protesting activities cast in cartoonishly grim terms alongside more substantive reports of lethal right-wing violence and threats that have received scant mention from top Trump administration officials. “Throughout the documents you see counterterrorism agencies using extremism so broadly as to mean virtually anything that encompasses dissent,” Hina Shamsi, director of the ACLU’s National Security Project, told The Intercept. “There are instances in which people engaging in white supremacist violence get the benefit of the doubt as potential lone offenders, while people of color and those who dissent against government injustice are smeared as threats with guilt by association.” On 07/09/2020 at 04:46, luckydug said: I've always believed America has rwo Conservative parties. No one is ever going to be denied medical care because they have no money. If you're lying half dead on a road an ambulance will take you to hospital with no checking to see if you have insurance cover and no debate over which hospital will take your insurance. The nearest hospital will do. You're never going to be in a situation where you may have a long term illness and they say look you have hit your lifetime cap. Now off you go and die someplace out of sight. And all that just scrapes the surface. They will decline tests that could alert you to major illness because your insurance doesn't cover it. Countless numbers of them who would have been treated back to health in Britain are dying. What they have isn't healthcare at all in the British sense. What they have is like calling McDonalds foodcare.
