Are people seriously denying that Clinton who visited Epsteins island on numerous occasions along with others didnt know or were involved with the pimping of children?

And taking bets on it?

Really is this the level of denial.

And that Hilary Clinton knew nothing

That none of any political party knew nothing?

This is what nips my nut.

No doubt Trump isnt fit .

But to flat out dismiss the blatantly obvious about the corruption and criminality of the political class and the elite because the arsehole in the White House means we have to absolve the rest as better.

He Trump is a symptom not a cause for fecks sake.

I hate this thread

I have seen no one trying to absolve anyone of anything you say. But there are no accusations being aimed at Clintons and even if there were who would care? There are no Clintons running for president. Trump is.

Do you have any evidence to suggest otherwise?

The documentary on epstein was fascinating, and what was most interesting was what the island staff had to say.

Not one of them claimed a Clinton was there while bad stuff was happening when it would have been the easiest thing in the world to come out with, it was what the world wanted to hear. In fact they all said the opposite, that no one saw anything or anyone untoward while one of them was present.

All the "oh come on!" innuendo in the world doesn't change the fact that it was a full time paradise playground luxury island for a very rich man who had frequent guests, as well as being an occasional beast's lair when the right people were around, but these were 2 sepatate rhings.

Many people visited that island, it doesn't mean they're all beasts.

But if you're so sure, give us your best evidence ("oh come on!" doesn't cut it, innuendo is nothing)

NIce try. Nobody I can see is defending Clinton. Anyone caught up in this, from either side of the political divide, deserves everything they get.

Some evidence would be appreciated.

Why are the Clintons even an issue?  He was three presidents ago.

Is it possible that the Clintons are being used as a distraction from Trump's behaviour?

And I'm ready for a bet.  You can't produce evidence that Hilary Clinton is guilty of child abuse or condoned child abuse or was involved in any child abuse ring. Name your terms.

Jake, you have several times said that you have no time for Trump, but you're sure quick to jump to his defence, even in this current discussion where Trump has clearly consorted with paedophiles.

So we just convict on hearsay and vendetta, now. Evidence has left the building. I hate this world where someone can destroy anyone with the click of a finger and people just believe it. No smoke and shit shit sticks on social media is the new campaign trail.

Trump can **** off and hopefully the USA can sort itself out again. Trump is worse than Covid19 for that once Great Place. Pity they don't have new up and coming Politic ideas coming through, instead of Joe feck Biden. But I suppose he'll have to do til then.

If you'd never heard of him and tuned in to his show, you'd be forgiven if you thought you were watching the US version of "Alan Partridge".

It's like US TV execs have looked at Partridge, thought "Funny, but we need to make him more relatable to a US audience. Turn him up to 11." and ended up with Alex Jones.

Unfortunately, the folk watching him missed the pre-programme announcement that it's fiction and think it's a genuine broadcast.

It's incredible.

He's an evil b*%*%*d playing on simple minds to get money out of them. Imagine the pain he inflicted on the families of the Sandy Hook school shooting massacre when he claimed it wasn't even real. A hoax.

These people are burying their children while this piece of shit tells the world they're actors who have lost nothing.

Quote

The Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting occurred on December 14, 2012, in Newtown, Connecticut, United States, when 20-year-old Adam Lanza shot and killed 26 people, including 20 children between six and seven years old, and six adult staff members.

Imagine the grief that would have been inflicted on parents if a freak like that had said the same thing after Dunblane and millions were believing it. Actually abusing and threatening them online.

Quote

In December 2016, Lucy Richards, a woman from Tampa, was charged with four counts of transmitting threats in interstate commerce for sending death threats to Lenny Pozner, whose son Noah was the youngest of 20 children murdered

Quote

Alex Jones on InfoWars, denied that the massacre actually occurred, asserting that it was "completely fake." (After being sued by some parents of the victims, Jones reversed his stance and admitted that the massacre was real.)

Quote

Trump appeared on InfoWars during his presidential campaign and lavished praise on Jones, saying that the conspiracy theorist had an "amazing" reputation and pledged not to let him down.

On February 20, 2017, the Newtown School Board wrote to President Trump and urged him to recognize the murders of 26 people at Sandy Hook and to "remove your support from anyone who continues to insist that the tragedy was staged or not real." Trump did not respond to the letter.

They were both taken on the 12 February 2000 at a party Donald Trump hosted at Mar-a-Lago.

Just as a point of note and may be of interest.

Virginia Roberts, the girl in the now famous photo with Prince Andrew, and has alleged that they had sex, well just a matter of months before the above photos were taken, was worked at Mar-a-Lago as a 15/16 yr old Spa Attendant, in fact it's where she alleges that she was procured by Ghislaine Maxwell for Epstein.

Money. Last I heard he has around 3 million or so 'followers' who hang on his every word. It comes down to there being millions out there who prefer conspiracy to indisputable reality. And will accept the conspiracy with little or zero evidence to support it. No matter how absurd the proposition is.

As for the prevalence of the mentality of those who believe fantastic conspiracy despite voluminous evidence proving it false. Well you see some of the kind even here on JKB across multiple topics. Jones has a far larger audience to draw from than JKB does.

Infowars is/was not only a shitey 'news' site, he used it more like an 'As Seen On TV' show for hawking equally shitey goods. More crazy viewers = more idiots willing to part with their cash. John Oliver did an excellent segment on how crazy he and his channel appear to be, it's actually a worrying well-organized way of relieving people of their hard-earned which is definitely worth a watch if you have a spare 20 mins.

Tne stupidity of Trump has infected the entire nation. His dimwitted conspiracy nut attitude from the beginning has now made them the coronavirus epicentre of the world.

Quote

Florida is the new domestic epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic, and it's on track to keep getting worse.

By the numbers: Of the 20 U.S. metro areas with the highest daily case growth, nine are in Florida, according to Nephron Research.

Driving the news: The state health department announced 132 new deaths yesterday, the most the state has seen since the pandemic began.

Between the lines: Deaths lag several weeks behind new cases, and cases are skyrocketing.

The state on Sunday announced more than 15,000 new cases, shattering the single-day case records in New York and California.

Florida now has more confirmed cases, adjusted for population, than New York ever had — although New York's true caseload was almost certainly multiple times higher than its official one.

Zoom in: "Miami is now the epicenter of the pandemic. What we were seeing in Wuhan five or six months ago, now we are there,” said Lilian Abbo, an infectious disease specialist at the University of Miami, earlier this week.

Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers-Cape Coral, Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, West Palm Beach-Boca Raton, Sarasota-Bradenton, Jacksonville and Pensacola are also in the top 20 metro areas, as of July 12.
What we're watching: Hospitals are filling up, Disney World is open and the state is imposing minimal social distancing requirements.

Democratic Rep. Donna Shalala told Bloomberg that the state should consider a three-week shutdown. “We’re in a very difficult situation at the moment, and unless we step back and reset our strategy, a lot more people are going to die.”

And here's a perfect example of why Florida is spiraling out of control.

Extreme patriotism is part of their problem. They like to declare themselves "the greatest country in the world." That's absurd, there is no greatest country.

But what it leads to is if they have areas in which other countries are doing better than they are how can they then say let's copy that country when we're already the greatest? At everything.

Wouldn't that be admitting well we're not the greatest at this thing, that thing, and many other things? The Republicans are the worst offenders when it comes to driving this deranged mentality.

It's voluntary insanity. You can see the crazy in full view as soon as the Trump catch phrase 'deep state' comes into it. Then "when you pass out don't ask me for help because i'm not going to help you"

How wonderful it would be if health workers could respond with when you get covid don't ask me for help because i'm not going to help you. Ask  the deep state for help.

I don't see how they can ever get covid under control with a nut just as crazy as they are in the White House. I foresee this developing from a disaster into an uncontrollable catastrophe when Winter comes.

Research suggests the virus prefers lower temperatures and there will be the flu season running alongside it.

The authorities should have used reverse psychology. Come out with a statement that says 'we don't want people to wear masks as that screws with our face-recognition software on our CCTV cameras which means we cannot identify you and keep you monitored.' I reckon all the Deep State believers would then wear a mask in defiance.

I'm beginning to think that these groups are more concerned about the Republican party and not the country. They know that if Trump gets another term then he has to try and fix the damage he's caused and if he he fails, which is more than likely, it could damage the Republican party for a long time. If Biden gets in he will have to fix all the damage in his first term and if he can't the Dems will get slaughtered for it, even though that would be unfair to him as fixing the shit-show he would be left with may not be something that can be done in one term.

I'm maybe doing these groups a disservice but I would have thought they would campaign for the GOP to pressure Trump to resign or for them to put up another candidate to run for president. Can they do that or are they stuck with Trump if he refuses to budge?

I asked this very question to my missus (a Republican) a few weeks ago. Apparently there is nothing to stop the Republican Party putting forward another candidate against him at the RNC, however it is tie-consuming and messy to do - especially at this late stage. Moreover, she can't think of any time in US history when a party that has the presidency has put up a challenger to the incumbent come re-election time.

EDIT: Its only happened once, back in 1852 when his own party got sick and tired of him. https://www.npr.org/sections/politicaljunkie/2009/07/a_president_denied_renominatio.html

I don't doubt for a moment that a major concern is the party rather than the country, and perhaps the major concern for them. But in the circumstances I and everybody else will take that.

There is no way Trump will step back voluntarily, criminal charges are awaiting him.

No. In legalese the presidential pardon power is "plenary"—absolute. There's no power of reversal.

An incoming president could direct his Department of Justice to open an investigation into some other crime the convicted criminal committed. Historically, politicians have shied away from doing that kind of thing, for better of for worse, because of the appearance of going after your political enemies.

Now? Who knows.

What's the matter with people and the reluctance to wear a mask?  Do these people not realise that one wears a mask to protect others?  It's nothing to do with "freedom" or a person's rights.  You wear a mask to reduce the chance of YOU infecting someone else.  It's courtesy, if nothing else.

In Ontario it's illegal to enter a public building without a mask.  That includes stores, banks, office buildings, pubs, etc.  Every building has a bottle of sanitiser inside the door, and a sign asking people to sanitise their hands before going any further.  Everybody does it.  It's for our own good.

I was out and about this morning and went to a bank and three stores.  I was out of the house for approximately an hour.  The only people I saw not wearing a mask were driving their car.  But they donned a mask before they got out of the car.

The precautions are working; infections and deaths have nose-dived in Ontario.

Trump has blood on his hands.  He is more concerned about his re-election than the health of Americans.

The authorities should have used reverse psychology. Come out with a statement that says 'we don't want people to wear masks as that screws with our face-recognition software on our CCTV cameras which means we cannot identify you and keep you monitored.' I reckon all the Deep State believers would then wear a mask in defiance.

I have the Mary Trump book in electronic and audio format. It's absolutely damning and i'm only through the prologue which was so damning it's scarcely credible this is even a real person and not a deranged fictional character she's talking about.

This man has multiple mental/psychological issues and inadequacies including a learning disability. A quote.

Quote

in an attempt to make sense of Donald’s often bizarre and self-defeating behavior. I have no problem calling Donald a narcissist—he meets all nine criteria as outlined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders

.
Meeting only four of the criteria typically suggests a narcissistic personality, he meets all nine. And narcissism isn't his only issue. He's a sociopath and even more.

Reading this is actually somewhat frightening. How in the world could this happen in a leading nation. The lunatic has literally taken over the asylum.
