If my memory serves me right Peter Oliver had a magnificent game against Jimmy Johnston that day.

These photos of the Celtic matches at Tynecastle remind me of having to queue up for about an hour to get into the enclosure. The stand was, usually, the only area you needed a ticket for. The terracing was always dominated by them, and not so healthy without segregation.

Huge crowds and we only played them once at home per season, making it a big event.

He and his wife used to run the canteen in Waddies the Printers during the mid 80’s , lovely fella ,
