Hate the way they build this up as an underdog tie with £25m Celtic vs £160m Valencia.

£25m Celtic vs £pocketmoney Motherwell and St Johnstone etc, that's an underdog fixture.

That tackle on Forrest was a penalty

To rangers.

In a Scottish league game with a corrupt Ref its a penalty. In Europe however....

Rodgers would need some brass neck to go with that excuse. Tom English wrote a good article recently saying when teams like Killie, or even us, win against Celtic they're not given nearly enough praise given the difference in resources is way bigger that when Celtic play in Europe and complain about the gulf in finances.

Parejo and Kondogbia are strolling it,They are both quality though! Lucky for Celtic, Valencia's top 4 attackers are out otherwise they could be in bother

Brighton Jambo

Brown has been dreadful.  He can cut it in SPL but his legs are so far gone for this level of football.  He was even weak in the tackle there, there one thing o thought he could could still do

Embarrassing again. With their resources the Europa League should be a tournament Celtic approach with a realistic chance of winning. Celtic get so much practice playing in Europe you'd think they'd get better at it.

Message to Cardinal Collum.

This is how you ref Celtic matches. 3 diving claims for penalties - none given

Scott Brown is hilariously out of his depth against teams like this.

:jjyay:

Brown is done, Celtic have looked better with McGregor in that position. He’s there for the cash now.

Celtic are flat track bullies.

Eduard falling over like he'd been shot earlier would have been a penalty for Celtic in Scotland, even though it was outside the box too.

I think that's part of their problem in Europe. Refs treat them as just another team not something special, so they don't have that advantage they have here. Goes for Rangers too.

I think it's genuinely abysmal.

Free pass though, for being all conquering in our league. Sad.

champions league qualification is the goal.

Aste that, the board won't really care what happens.

Europa league is second prize and Likley acceptable.

Probably exceeded expectations qualifying from thier group in the Europa tbh.

Hopefully Valencia can put another couple past them tho, add to the list of humpings they've had under him.

The Dembele signing (assuming that was him) and then sale maybe bought him some time but his signings on the whole have been really bad. Celtic were getting good at picking up decent players for 2 or 3m and selling them for loads. He's taken them backwards in that respect, as well as in the league and Europe.

His signings have been questionable.

An unbeaten season, double treble and 2/3's of the way to a treble treble will buy you time tho.

The most telling aspect is the fact that celtic have had the bulk of the possession but are still behind by two goals. Had this been a domestic game they would have been awarded a penalty or two and any counter attacks would have been broken down by free kicks and poor officiating. They don't play a high standard of football, they just have referees in their pocket. Playing them in the SC final with all of the TV coverage and referees feeling accountable they'll be found out.

Delighted to hear brown being described as pish.

What does Brendan tell the media?  Hope he's got a couple of excuses up his sleeve.

Maybe.

But also a team with better players is generally faster, quicker and stronger.

Celtic are generally this over most teams so draw more fouls.

Valencia are quicker, smarter and slicker than them so celtic foul more.

The refs are maybe a bit more stronger but a worse team generally fouls a better team more.

Valencia are better than celtic.

I've found the officiating this year generally shite rather than biased tbh.
