Will do his confidence the world of good and increases the competition for strikers. Hopefully see more of him as the season goes on.

Hatrick for reserves today too

Goal apart,  how was he?  What kind of player do we have on our hands? Does he like to play off the last defender or come deep etc.

Expert opinions welcome :)

He seems to like playing across the attacking half coming deeper quite a lot in games. In fact he has scored a few long range goals. It might just be the modern way.

He can hit a ball.  He had 6 shots v Dundee only one of which he connected with. But he can hit the ball hard.

As some said yesterday he seems to have built up and is becoming a unit too.

Be interesting to see how he develops. Was an interesting choice to bring him back from loan. So let's see.

Took his goal well on Sunday, hopefully a lot more to come for him in maroon. Love to see him line up with Uche from the start and give them a run of games together. The space the big man creates and the fact he's occupying 2/3 defenders at a time will create loads of chances for keena

I could see their movement working well together albeit need to work at it in training. Keena would create space too.

Happy for him but not getting carried away. He has basically scored in a training exercise. Would be nice if we could put teams away earlier to allow him game time.

Agree about not getting carried away but cup football against a junior team is pretty much the opposite of a training exercise!

Yep. I think we miss a poacher type. I wonder if he can fill that role.

This, with Naismith playing behind them could be special

4 goals in the space of 24 hours, not too shabby!

Move over Oli "2 goals. 2 games" Shaw.

A new European superstar is here.

Glad to see Hearts website up to date with report on that reserve game.

Hard to judge after yesterday but seems that he was doing a bit of both. Although he was playing deeper due to us being down to 10 men after Smith went off injured. Link up play was good in his cameo and seems like a natural goal scorer as he has scored goals for Queens Park, Dunfermline along with our reserves.
