Blackford Hearts

It looks good, and it is, but the €135 million they got for Philippe Coutinho will likely be in there?

No doubt it helped but don't think even Barcelona would hand that over cash. 30 odd million a season or something like that I'd guess.

Balance sheet champions though so that's good.

I'm not a bit surprised.  In their world that profit only represents one half decent player.  If they had made a loss of that magnitude they'd hardly have batted an eyelid.

Champions league TV cash as well as EPL TV cash.

It will be very interesting how much money HMRC will get out of this.

None. They will have plenty of rolled over losses.

Hahaha that even made me chuckle.

Probably the only thing we will win this season.

We. We. We. Blah blah blah

Doesn't matter what the repayment terms are, the sale would go into the P&L account at full value.  There's a big difference between profit and cashflow.

How does that compare with another brand like Starbucks or Microsoft?

Doesn't come close.  Starbuck's net revenues last year were > $6bn.

The biggest football clubs in the world are still fairly small businesses in global terms.

And absolutely right to do so. It's tight and a very difficult league. Be we are getting results when it matters. It's going to require bottle but we definitely have the quality to do it.

Maroon tinted glasses 2

Absolutely buzzing today as my youngest lad was a mascot at Anfield, although much different matchday experience to Tynecastle as apart from the walking out holding wijnaldums hand there was no player interaction and the parents were stuffed away in the bottom corner of the main stand. Still chuffed though.
